“I had an amazing experience with this place. The front office staff is so wonderful and warm. I knew before going in that I would be waiting for my car so that was helpful to plan and there’s also free Wi-Fi so I was able to do my work while waiting. They looked at my car because I had a check engine light, but I told them that I’m planning to sell the car because our family is expanding and they did a thorough overview of the car and also gave me some insight into how much I could plan to sell my car for. As a woman who doesn’t know a lot about cars, I felt very taken care of, and felt like they were honest and transparent, and we’re not attempting to just make money off of my ignorance, which is huge! They also were very honest about how much they would be able to do on our newer car that we purchased, which is a hybrid, which I also appreciate the honesty upfront”
“Can’t say enough about Bill’s Tire Repair!!! Everyone was nice. Just moved into the area. I had a screw in my brand new tire and the place that put them on wanted me to buy a new tire without really looking at it.
They took my tire off and took time to make sure it didn’t hurt the sidewall. Great guys!!! It is my wife’s car and she drives a lot on the highway so they made sure it was safe.
Then, they charged me a really small fee to do it. Under $25!!! I paid them more because I appreciated their caring, art of repair; and knowledge. I am a fan!!

“Unfortunately I had to have my car worked on, but they were able to get my car done almost right away and even though I called multiple times with questions and I was probably annoying Dillion was so patient and helpful.”
“I noticed on my way back from Micanopy that my rear passenger-side tire was almost totally flat. Topped it up at a gas station, but it was hissing loudly, suggesting a decent sized breach was present in the rubber.
Made it past Payne's Prairie into a small subdivision as it went dead flat and gassed the tire with a can of Fix-a-Flat that was at least a decade old. Some of the gas had escaped over the years in my back seat bin full of emergency gear, but the tire managed to fill up at least up under about half, enabling me to make it back home near this, my regular Tires Plus.
Despite it being a late Sunday afternoon and their closing at 5pm / 1700 ET, Scott and his crew got me in. They replaced the bad tire (which unfortunately thanks to caustic Fix-a-Flat could not simply be patched up) and got me good to go just about half an hour before closing time. That along with scoring me a few discounts despite this one of a set of tires installed in 2018 not being covered by Bridgestone's warranty any longer.
Previous to that unplanned visit to the shop, my wife and I were bummed because Mosswood Farm is on summer break until early September, and a borked online ordering system Menufy failed to convey an order to Pearl Country Store and Barbecue, both up in Micanopy. The flat made for the third strike in our otherwise uneventful Sunday, but I'm happy to rank Tires Plus among those top-notch go-to local places.
I'm presently mulling over Scott's advising the three other tires are past due, but if and when I get them swapped, I'll definitely seek out Tires Plus to replace 'em in the near future.”
“My experience has been generally very good at this Sam's club. The staff are friendly, the store is clean, and the gas lines are fairly efficient. Gas prices are consistently 3 - 10 cents cheaper per gallon. Additionally, you can't go wrong with grabbing one of their rotisserie chickens or eating from their mini food court area. The experience with their tire and battery service area is relatively mixed. They ultimately helped me replace a tire, but I felt like they wanted me to leave and were dissuading me from using their service. This would be my main reservation, and reason for rating this Sam's Club a 4 instead of a 5. The Sam's club membership is an overall great value for people who prefer to purchase in bulk for a savings.”
“I have been coming to Firestone for as long as I can remember (NY & Florida), which in and of itself, says a lot right there--Loyal customer. And I have been a customer of this particular Firestone for many years, as I have lived in Gainesville 3x now. They always receive me in a timely manner when I make appointments and complete the work within a reasonable time frame. I always receive an update without having to seek them out like I have in other places. We discuss what is going on with my car and any additional services that may be needed. And since I commute 2+ hours a day, I count on them to take good care of my car. I have never felt that they were trying to sell me something that wasn't needed. Chad and the rest of the staff provide good service, are helpful with trying to find the best promotions/discounts, and are always friendly and helpful with answering questions.”

Parking lot was blocked because someone decided to not pull their trailer carrying a motorcycle out of the way for other customers to come and go. People seemed to not care other customers needed to shop and be on their way.”
