“Rad was the 4th fertility clinic we had sought out (only because we moved several times for my husbands job) While I did have success with my first round of IVF in another state (my 6 yr old is amazing ) all 3 clinics diagnosed me as unexplained infertility....for 5 yrs following the birth of our son there was no rhyme or reason, just repeated fail or miscarriage....until Rad. Dr McGuirk has changed our life! She knew there was something going on, and turns out there was, asymptomatic endo (which btw is fixable) and 3months after my lap surgery which detected it, I became pregnant via IVF transfer with our 2nd son who is 2 weeks old. I am so greatful to Rad, I am thankful we never gave up and while the wait was hard, it seems like nothing now that our son is here. A big shout out to Dr Schillings who did my successful transfer & to Gina in the office who helped me more than she knows every step of this journey.”

“I had to bring my 4 day old daughter in here back in November to get an additional test done. When we arrived, it turns out Christiana Peds never sent a script in for the test. Being 4 days postpartum with a newborn, I was super overwhelmed and everyone at Lab Services was BEYOND nice and helpful. Special thank you to Char for helping resolve my situation with Christiana Peds and getting that script sent over so my daughter could have her test done ASAP and we could go home. I’m so grateful for how kind and helpful Char was. Would absolutely recommend this Lab because of the staff!!”

“I am a hard stick and have been since i was a child, and every other place I go to they choose to never listen as to what works for me. When I walk out I am all bruised up on both arms. I read the reviews on this labcorp and decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. From check in to getting my blood drawn these ladies were amazing! They listened and make you feel like you matter. You can tell they are a team here and thats what makes a great experience for a patient. “I love the location; it's in the walkable center of Newark and easy to access. The staff here are also great. I am squeamish with needles and can have trouble with passing out sometimes, especially if I have to fast before a blood draw, but the technician here was reassuring and helped me to be 100% fine. There was also an issue with cost for one of my wife's test and the front-desk staff were super helpful. There were a few other people here when we got here, but this place was operating efficiently and there was little wait, and we were able to go right when our scheduled appointments were or even slightly earlier. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is, and I think this is probably a Labcorp-wide issue, if a doctor orders a series of tests, and you get up and realize one of them is going to be very expensive so you don't want it, it is very difficult to remove individual tests. It is time-consuming for the desk staff and also not practical. What I would prefer in this case were that the costs of the tests were itemized and presented to the patient at the time of the appointment, and then you could choose to remove individual tests based on cost. So hopefully they can address this issue in the future and lead to a better patient experience. It is very important for the patient to be able to itemize costs nowadays because cost is a key factor in whether or not to get certain tests. Some might be worth it if they're cheap, but not if they're expensive.”
