Went to purchase new phones/update plans and did that with kevin who was very helpful, but then I went back to pick up/set up my phone and this employee really didn't seem to know how things worked and im also pretty sure she was on the phone with her boyfriend the entire time.

No call answering....full voice mail....Unresolved issues and even an on-site visit did not resolve problems with billing for a cell phone purchased on behalf of someone else. The Verizon Corporate Hdq. should realize that they have put up so many safety protocols that people like me who pay the bills on behalf of my relative can't authorize automatic payment on my own account!

This place is supposed to open at 9am. I got here at 9:45 and it’s still not open. 9:58 and still not open. Verizon was supposed to send me a modem but they somehow screwed it up and I can even pick up the damn thing because the store isn’t open when it’s supposed to be. Can google fiber please come to DC so we have more options for internet!!!

The customer service here could literally not be more atrocious. My "attendant" flip-flopped on what exactly my issue was over and over again. Finally, after forcing him for an answer, he told me to call my account carrier - my mom - which I did. She was simply trying to follow his instructions as to how to give me access to our family plan...6 separate times, my poor mom was waiting on the phone and my "attendant" had once again vanished to start pitching a plan to a new walk-in customer. This person had absolutely NO BUSINESS working in customer service, and especially not for a reputable company like Verizon. His behavior was utterly despicable. We're going to contact actual Verizon to ensure that this type of employee and employee behavior does not happen again. I felt utterly humiliated for Verizon that the company had someone so utterly under-qualified, unprofessional, and - frankly - RUDE representing them.

Incorrect operating hours on their door QR code. Called several times yesterday to confirm their hours: no answer. Show up just before 9am (when they open according to Verizon’s own website and the store’s individual website.) not a soul in sight. Check the reviews on the Verizon site and you’ll see. They do not open on time. Complete disregard for customers. Deciding not to get Fios now.

Worst place ever no answering calls, no notification when items are available. Went through literally 3 returns because they didn't know where my order was.

I was just here and i came to get some info about home internet. I had to wait more than 1 hour for just find out some basic information and they applied to home internet without getting my approval. They asked me some information which includes my ssn?! (i was like, why do you need my ssn? And then the guy told me you have to fill out this form to find out your internet speed and i said okay) Once i find my internet plan out they gave me a paper which shows they already sign up for me. I was shocked and furious, it was really unsatisfying experience.

Verizon customer service told me to come here to pickup equipment. Walked in, received very poor customer service and was told matter of factly that they didn’t have any equipment. Full stop. No indication of when they’d have more until I asked. This experience left a lot to be desired.

Arrived at 915, place is supposed to open at 9. His coffee is there, e-mail logged in, but door locked? Waited for about 25 minutes and he rolls in on the phone not a care in the world. Asked why he was late for opening the door and he said he was on his break. How do you take a break in the first 15 minutes of being open?

Arrived at 10AM for 10AM appointment for phone upgrade. Lone employee in store ignored me & kept working with another customer. I soon realized there was another customer in store who was waiting for his 9:30 appointment. There was no way to tell at that time how long my wait would be. My appointment time obviously meant nothing. Store employee said he would soon be right with me. No way that was going to happen. I walked out.I tried to chat with Verizon then. No response there. Maybe I need to get a new phone with a new carrier.

I needed to upgrade my Samsung phone and Daniel was fantastic in helping me find the right kind while keeping my current plan; he transferred all data from my old phone and gave me good instructions about my new one. He was great at multi-tasking with several customers in the store - there really should be more employees there in order to help other customers!

I am a tourist coming in from Dallas. My phone was broken and I noticed that it was time to get an upgrade which I was due for. I stayed in Friendship heights so this was my closest Verizon. I am now on my new phone, although I got a new IPhone 14 I was left disappointed and discouraged. The staff was rude and used stereotypes. The ring leader was John, the associate who helped me. Keep in mind, I am a heavier set gentleman as John kept using phrases such as calling me “big man”. That wasn’t the end of it and didn’t even bother me that much. But what really pushed me over the edge is when John was walking me through the different plans, he then started to tell me about the Apple Watch bundle where I have the chance to get an Apple Watch 50 percent off with my current plan and he then went on “ but I’m not sure if you’d be interested because you look like a guy who just likes to chill at home”. All that being said 30 minutes after meeting this clown. For all those that are close in the area and this is your closest Verizon, don’t waste your time with these guys just hop on the Metro and weigh different options. The best thing you can sell in an individual business is valuable customer service, John and the Verizon team on 5252 Wisconsin miserably failed at that today.

The staff was amazing and very patient the rep John that assisted me was beyond helpful he made my experience delightful continent and went above and beyond to ensure consumer satisfaction I was very satisfied and overjoyed with my new phone if he isn’t a manger definitely desires a promotion
