I woke up one day to find my new Pixel 8 was not taking a charge. I went to the Russell Cellular Store on Rockville Pike as a walk-in. Needless to say, someone was already ahead of me. The tech immediately diagnosed the problem (charger & cord) and was concerned I would have to buy a new one. But with software changes, I had to. Altho by that time there was a person seeking help on the phone, another waiting in a chair, and three new walk-ins trying to get served, he never lost his cool. Service was quick, info perfect & accurate, and it fixed my (admittedly small) problem. Thru it all l he was unfailingly calm and polite. I give him an A+! Although I would say, the store desperately needs more staff!

Went in to bundle my existing Fios with two cell lines. Sahid juggled many customers at once, but assured us an easy process. He told us we could keep the employer discount for Fios, while taking an additional $15 credit for bundling with cellular service while also taking a $5 per line credit for each cell line since we brought our own phones. He charged us a $40 activation fee and said we were all set. But we weren’t, because the app did not show any evidence of a cell plan. He said it should, and put us on hold with technical support. We were now at about 2 hours of waiting. I asked Sahid for any documentation to confirm what we just signed up for ($70/mo 500gb fios plan - existing + 2 Unlimited Welcome at $55 per plan, 2 $5 monthly credits for bringing our own phones + $15/mo credit for a bundle). Eventually, Sahid just ignored us when we asked for documentation, told us we signed the T&C digitally so that’s all we get. He refused to give us anything in writing, and continued on with another customer ignoring our request for documentation. We left, angry, with no documentation, a charged credit card and messed up cell phone service.

Dude was on his phone for a personal call and made me wait 10 minutes while he took it. Not impressed. Also, was sent here by a Verizon tech who claimed it was the closest store to me - turns out there was one just up the road from me, and this one was a 20 minute drive.

Excellent, knowledgeable, and responsible service - over multiple visits. Based on my experience, I recommend this store highly.
After making an appointment to deal with a broken phone and account ownership issues - Jonathan, Joshua, and the Russell Cellular team were responsive and patient and resolved everything in just a few days.
When I arrived , the team member was attentive , made sure that I was helped, and checked on me frequently. Jonathan initiated the account issues with the Verizon call center, then sent me for phone repair so my data could be transferred to a new upgraded phone, which was ordered. When I came back with the fixed phone, Joshua spent a lot of time to resolve the account ownership issues by interfacing with the Verizon rep and using his cyber skills to solve the remaining problems more efficiently. Then the data was transferred and I was good to go with my upgrade!
For me, it was an overwhelmingly positive experience and well worth any waiting time.
So good to deal in person with people who understood my needs, preferences, and limitations. They were patient and kind about explanations.

They will promise the world and deliver nothing. I have been trying to get my bill to what was promised for over a month. And still working on it. I have spent over 30 hrs on the phone with customer service. Please dont go there looking for an honest sales agent.
