About Capitol City Circus School
Capitol City Circus School was established in 2023 to support the DC area Circus community. It's founders Kiersten Van Houten, Jeff Wagener and Angie Stoner have more than 50 years of combined experience in the circus world. At Capitol City Circus School, we aim to build community and enhance lives through the power of learning circus arts and achieving goals in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

Just took a circus trapeze lesson with a group of friends for my sister’s birthday and it was so much fun! Talia, Bruno, and Jessi were awesome instructors we had a blast and actually made real progress for our first time. We already signed up for our next session!

I tried out the flying trapeze all levels class & it was so much fun! The instructors are patient & give you that extra push to do the tricks they teach you during class. It’s a two hour session & worth the money, you get to go up multiple times. Will definitely return!

That was the coolest, funnest experience in DC! I can’t believe how much we achieved in a 2 hour beginner class! My husband and I had so much fun and were super grateful for our teachers Rex, Alaho, and Olivia!
