Hudson News, located inside Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington, DC, offers a variety of snacks, books, magazines, and more. The store has a good selection, making it a helpful spot for last-minute purchases for commuters. The service is friendly, and while prices are generally okay, they tend to be a bit high, which is common in airport stores. Some customers find the prices for items like bottled water to be expensive, with one noting it cost over six dollars—significantly more than elsewhere. The store also features self-checkout options, although prices and tags can sometimes be hard to see. One notable experience involved staff member Elizabeth, who went above and beyond to help a customer with phone charging and finding a solution, demonstrating courteous and optimistic service. Overall, Hudson News is a convenient place for travelers to pick up reading material, snacks, and last-minute items, despite some higher prices.
It’s cool they have self checkout but over six bucks for a bottle of water is actual robbery 😭 it was hard to see the prices too with the tags turned down. Meanwhile in Penn Station I paid half the price.
