I used Bench Gym for a couple weeks while visiting for business. The staff responded quickly and communicated effectively. The gym is not large, but has everything you would need. It's located in the lobby of a commercial building, but once you figure that out, it's not difficult to locate. There was never more than two other clients when I was there, so even though it was small it never felt cramped. The workout itself was effective and efficient. They prioritized my safety (prior injury to consider) along with my workout program, which was very appreciated.

Trust me! Bench Gym is The Best personal training in DC! I was really obese and weighed 235 pounds before, and I had no idea about how to do body training at all. Then I started to train with Jon on Jan 2022, and I've lost 65 pounds since then. I'm also being able to maintain my current body weight, 170 pounds, while gaining more muscles. Jon helped me a lot in this weight loss and body building journey! Just choose Bench Gym!

Jon and Dominic are more than just trainers -- they become your motivational friends and support system. When I started training with them, I was completely uncomfortable in a weight room. Nine months later, I have the skills to confidently walk into a weight room with or without a trainer. My training sessions with Jon and Dominic were the highlight of my week! I STRONGLY recommend them to all!

I have never written a review before, but I must give Bench Training Gym a perfect 5/5! The trainers at this gym are very knowledgeable and friendly. I trained with Jon Ponce and each session was challenging. He pushes you to do your best and encourages you to ask questions. Each training session is customized depending on your fitness goals and the gym is metro accessible (Farragut North Metro). I highly recommend anyone looking for a trainer to please give Bench Training Gym a visit. I promise that you will not be disappointed!

I have been training with Bench Gym for 4 months now and the experience is excellent. I train mostly with Jon, but also had several sessions with Dominic. Each has their own training style but both are super friendly, considerate, and dedicated. I used to be so weak that I fainted after 20 min of workout but the trainers here carry so much positive energy, they keep encouraging and pushing me forward, adjusting training sessions to my specific conditions to help me get better incrementally each time.This place is a hidden gem. It doesn't look as spacious and flashy as other places but the dedication and friendliness of trainers are unparalleled.

Jon Ponce helped me lose almost 50 pounds! The personal trainers at Bench Gym Personal Training DC did an awesome job in making sure I lose the weight in a healthy, gradual way. Now, I've never felt this healthy before in my life and I owe it all to the team at Bench Gym.

I love this place. It's a great private gym with very knowledgeable Personal trainers! Jon and Dominic are skilled fitness trainers because they know how to listen and gave me a personalized attention and most importantly creating a very caring atmosphere, that's why I keep on coming back to Bench Gym Personal Training.

My search for a good personal trainer near me ended when I joined Bench Gym Personal Training. Jon Ponce is one of the best personal training coaches in Washington DC and believes in helping his clients achieve their fitness goals without resorting to any kind of fad diets. He focuses on helping his clients overcome their mental and physical blocks by guiding them through different types of exercises. His vast knowledge and experience in the field of sports and fitness allows him to understand the problems faced by his clients and recommends schedules that work for them well. I don't think anyone can find a better personal trainer in DC.

The best personal training I've received for the best price. My size and strength have increased a lot since I started training with them. The staff of trainers are very professional, motivational, and friendly, and make sure your training goals are met, whatever they may be. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my workouts with jon ponce. He kept pushing me to do a little more. By the time I finished my sessions, I had a lot of strength and energy. I would highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and a great motivator. There were times when I did not want to push myself and he encouraged me. I took a total of 24 sessions. I see the results in my body.
