“Yesterday on Route 67 I drove over something in the road and my tire went flat. I pulled into Action Moving and immediately two Action Moving employees came to my rescue. After removing the flat tire and before putting the spare on, they went back to the garage and put a plug in the flat tire in order for me to drive home at normal speeds which would have been impossible with the spare tire. To its credit, Action Moving's staff in my opinion have surpassed any and all expectations of chivalry and kindness in helping out a stranded motorist. Many thanks again to Carl and Egan (sp?), my two "knights in shining armor".”

“On 6/28/2025 I went to this U-haul store at1685 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden, CT. 06514, and was greeted with the best customer service that I've had in a very long time. General Manager Ricky Mcdonald went far and beyond to make sure that my cooking event proceeded without any problems. Some months ago a friend purchased me a brand new propane tank that I chose not to fill at the time of purchase. Well on the said date above I went to purchase some propane and fill the new tank. While attempting to fill this new tank Ricky and I realized that this tank had a defect with it and my day felt ruined. Well Ricky Mcdonald made my day by supplying me with 2 borrowed filled tanks to use as he promised to order me a replacement new tank. I applaud the U-Hal center for hiring this young man and allowing him to show how a Manager can really help out during tough times that might be out of your control. Thank you Ricky Mcdonald and U-Haul for your love and excellent customer service skills.”
“Another excellent experience using Father & Son! Today my mom moved from her apartment in Meriden into her new place in Cheshire. The 3-man team of James, Ryan, and Torray were on time, prepared, followed COVID safety protocols excellently, and were fun to work with. They got the apartment emptied of furniture so much quicker than we thought possible, handling several antique pieces with great care. Getting the truck unloaded at the destination went smoothly and again with great humor and professionalism. Add that to the company's incredibly affordable rates and terrific customer service, and you won't go wrong choosing Father & Son.”
