“We had a truly positive experience. They were on time, under budget, finished expediently (ahead of schedule) & were very cooperative to work with. If Marshall is still a head of one of their moving teams -- I (ESPECIALLY) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They were also notably careful, experienced & moved a few very big things (a sleeper couch) that weren't part of the deal.Felt like they had the project well in hand, & worked around us really well as we did our part. We moved 2 years ago -- but was just reminded how they went above & beyond & that deserves a shout out!Oh, and Arleen (who would be your first point of contact) ROCKS!”

“First Class Movers were great, they were prompt, clean and quick in both packing-up my furniture and moving it to my home. The men were courteous and did several small changes for me without question. They asked were everything needed to go, and it all was placed exactly as I asked. I could not be happier. I highly recommend them for your move. Great job First Class Movers.”

“Another excellent experience using Father & Son! Today my mom moved from her apartment in Meriden into her new place in Cheshire. The 3-man team of James, Ryan, and Torray were on time, prepared, followed COVID safety protocols excellently, and were fun to work with. They got the apartment emptied of furniture so much quicker than we thought possible, handling several antique pieces with great care. Getting the truck unloaded at the destination went smoothly and again with great humor and professionalism. Add that to the company's incredibly affordable rates and terrific customer service, and you won't go wrong choosing Father & Son.”

“Decided to use Zipcar since most car rentals for Labor day were sold out. Signed up and the Zipcard was sent to me within a week-- off to a good start. After reading the reviews, I was getting super anxious that everything possible was going to go wrong. First thing, is that the actual price of the car is not as advertised on the website. I paid about ~$128 for a honda civic instead of the starting price advertised around ~$89. The day of the car pickup. The car is nowhere to be found. This was frustrating, but the zipcar customer reps on the phone directed us to a new car in a new parking garage. We got an upgraded car for the same price, which was nice. The zipcar rep assured us that they would refund us for the cab ride it took to get to the new car. (haven't had a refund yet, but I take their word.) While we had a rough start (was prepared for this given the reviews online), the trip was smooth. No problems with the car, it was clean, large, and had everything we needed (bluetooth, EZpass, etc). I had no issues charging the gascard for gas either. On returning the car, make sure you CALL the zipcar reps to make sure they got your punch in so you don't have any late fees. Overall, no hidden fees were charged at the end and they were transparent with all the toll fees. Make sure to take photos of any dents/damages to the car before your ride so they do not falsely accuse you of damages. My experience is that if you cross all your T's and dot all your I's Zipcar is a great experience as long as you are aware of the mishaps that can occur. I would use again.”
