“There's gas, coffee, snacks, lotto tix, cigarettes. Cool.And there's often a smug cashier. Never a greeting or thanks, just some dude acting edgy while working the cash register in Weatogue, Connecticut, where I guess one can develop an edge. I mean, sure, the mini-golf courses and Volvo dealership really paint a picture of a hard town.Today was the first time I dealt w/ a cashier who was confused by cash tho. He's touching the money all flabbergasted, "wut'd ya just make these! they're fresh! har har har". I'm sure he was doing the best with the skills he's got, but those machines that say ATM, yeah, they're kinda common. People withdraw cash from them. That cash often comes out crisp or "fresh".I'm bored at my barber's, waiting for a cut. So, take 4 stars, who cares.”

“Very nice staff. I had a problem today with vape juice I bought and the gentleman solved the issue right away. I don't know his name, but he was so helpful and went out of his way for me- all while keeping the line going at the register. He made everyone happy. He even gave my little dog a treat. Good people, the store is clean & seemed fully stocked. I'll be back.”

“Conveniently located, Costco is frequently our go to shopping location. Costco gas is almost always less than surrounding locations, so combined with great value items in the store, the trip pays off if we need to fill up. People ask us why we belong to Costco, since there's just the two of us: how much TP can you guys use, they ask. Honestly, we don't buy a lot of bulk items, but we've booked a cruise, vacations, and have bought three cars through Costco, so we value our membership more than you might think. The New Britain store is clean, with a pleasant, informed staff.”

“I stopped here for gas and drink one day because 1) it was on the right side of the road and 2) there's only so much value in spending time trying to find a "good" price on gas anymore. But overall, not a bad experience. Easy in, drive right up to a pump, and there's a trash can if you need it. There's an air pump at the top of the lot. There wasn't enough business where I needed to move the car from the pump to go into the shop. I did anyway, and found about five spots on the left side of the building. What is impressive is the shop. It is immaculately faced for the most part. It is CLEAN, and items are uniformly on the edge of the shelf. There is a restroom available, although I did not see inside. Would pump gas here again!”

“Always great customer service! I've been going to this gas say since first coming to Hartford around 2005-2006 they have always given the respect you give to them! They have lots of things to choose from and the store is always stocked and clean! You could have A regular conversation with the Employees they are easy to talk to and can multitask!!”

“It has been my experience that they are honest, and they do good work. They charge a fair (and sometimes even cheap) rate for their repairs. You have to catch them when the owner is in, because he is the only real English speaker of the lot. They even suggested what repairs I could do myself to save some money. I highly recommend this repair shop.”

“This Sunoco is priced a little high, compared to the Mobil across the street and the other Sunoco that is a few miles south of here (in Newington). The staff at this location is friendly. I get in and out quickly when I'm travelling north bound on the Berlin Turnpike. There is a small store with some basics that someone may want during a road trip.”

“Stopped here for coffee and a snack. Cumbies coffee is always great for the price of only 1$. We also got chicken nuggets and they weren't half bad. I did have a hard time finding the bbq sauce and the employee was very helpful in finding it. Not bad a bad stop if it's on the way somewhere.”

“This station is very clean. The gas prices are competitive for the Berlin Tpke. They're on the south side so I often fill up here on the way home. The liquid for washing the windshield always seems fresh and the squeegee doesn't streak. I use the Mobil app and it always works well (unlike some other stations).”

“I'd say, "Ol' Reliable." When I planned my trip to Connecticut, I assumed I could depend on Lyft. How wrong I was!!! Luckily I found out about Yellow Cab Co and was impressed by how immediately/unconditionally they were reached by phone! They operate 24/7. Their version of "ASAP pickup" usually denotes 30 minutes - WAY better than Lyft/Uber which just straight up has no rides. The prices were great, in my experience! I paid exactly what I would have paid with a Lyft, if not a little less. They dropped me off in Essex one day, and later got me to the train station early. The taxi consistently arrived a few minutes before scheduled. I recommend to schedule your ride in advance; when I didn't call ahead on a Friday night, I wasn't able to get a ride from them. (I ended up getting a ride from some kind strangers I met - Connecticut is awesome, LOL!) The taxi itself is emblazoned with their logo, as well as a hint of eau-de-cigarette, but nothing unpleasant. There was a nice safety divider which still made our voices audible. I was able to charge my phone in the car. When I asked my driver to slide his mask up a tad, and he happily did so and did the same during my second trip. And I was happy to support a local business!”

I called at closing time yesterday an received my oil today which is usually how they do their business no matter if I call or go to office location I am always very satisfied with my interactions with everyone an the owner is a great person this is my forever home when it comes to needing oil”
