“I enrolled in the pistol permit class like anyone else looking to obtain a pistol permit in the state of Connecticut. Leading up to the course I felt I was mentally prepared for the 8hr day of sitting in a classroom. However, the thought of having to be tested on my knowledge of firearms, how to safely operate them, and the laws that accompany owning them was a stressful notion. I had no need to be concerned. Even if you never plan on owning a firearm, everyone should take the pistol permit class offered at Blue Trail Range at least once. It was informative, engaging, and extremely well run. Our instructor Mark should receive rewards for how well he teaches, manages a room, and handles tough students. I can't speak highly enough of how enjoyable he made the entire process. Even though Blue Trail is a bit of a hike from where I live I will certainly be returning. All of the staff I interacted with were extremely friendly, welcoming, and supportive. It will be tough for you to find a course that surpasses what Blue Trail offers and the staff they employ. Thank you Mark and everyone at Blue Trail for a wonderful experience.”
