“Judd did a phenomenal job fixing up my 05mustang GT. Called at least 5 shops in the area to get my Rear differential swapped. For those who don’t know it’s a big involved job so many shops didn’t want the job. It takes precision and he got me a replacement within a day or 2 and swapped my gears within a few days. I couldn’t have been happier, he’s incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He got my pony back and running like a champ. Not to mention he offered to swap my Gears for 4.10s for more than fair price. I’ll definitely be going back. This is my new shop here”

Even after the sale he was just as quick to answer any questions and overall I feel he helped me pick a better lift than I would have picked on my own, and it was less money, he wasn't just trying to upsell. “I go to Ray’s Service for everything on my Honda Pilot. The first time I went, I asked Jay to pretend that I am a family member (aunt or older sister) because I needed someone I could trust. I don’t have time, brain space, or energy to research vehicle maintenance requirements. The quality of work is top notch and the prices are extremely fair. If there’s something $big$ to be done, Jay will find the best prices for parts and even coordinates timing to help spread out the charges so I’m not ‘smacked’ in the face with a huge cost. Jay also NEVER tacks on ‘extras’ like dealers and chains do. Within 15 minutes he had come down to where I was and attempted to start my car to try and save me some towing costs. This kind of service was above and beyond any other mechanic I can think of. “I had noticed some oil spots on my tailgate while traveling from NC to Torrington. When I looked under the truck I saw it looked like my transmission was leaking. I called around and everyone was too busy to even look at it. Gary's was able to look at it the next day even though they were busy. When it was on the lift they determined it was not a leak but rather fluid coming from the vent due to expansion. They checked the pan bolts and fluid level at no charge. You don't see honesty like that anymore. I travel to CT every few months and I will definitely call Gary's if I have trouble again.Service: General repairs & maintenance”

“My tire was fixed in under 30 minutes and for less than $30! Highly recommend Toce brothers if you find yourself in need of fixing a tire. We had an awful experience getting a tire repaired in Torrington a few years ago so when my tire pressure alert popped up on my dashboard and I spotted 2 screws in the tire when I filled it with air at the gas station I was dreading the time and cost I was anticipating to take care of it. So I googled other options near me and found Toce brothers. The first and immediate plus was that it opens early - at 7 am. And when I called at 7:30 am the next morning the woman who answered was friendly and professional, confirming that that they do fix tires and that I would not need an appointment. The shop was centrally located on Main Street and easy to find, they didn't mind that I parked in the employee lot by accident and readily took my keys to get my car, a few quick questions to provide my information, and plenty of seating while I waited. And the wait was not long! Within 30 minutes my car was ready. They let me know that there were only the 2 screws (I feared there would be more), that they had patched both holes from the inside, and checked my other tires. I was very pleased and thankful! The only thing I did sooner than write this review was text my husband, parents and sisters to let them know about this place in case they ever needed i!”
