“Carhartt is a brand primarily made for heavy duty work, like construction, or outdoor wood work. In the recent years it has become quite trendy for anyone looking to keep warm in the winter months. Their beanies are very thick, warm and cozy, and so comfortable, they come in a large variety of colors. They are available from sizes for infants to adults. The Carhartt store in Evergreen Walk is the only one in Connecticut. I've gone here multiple times looking for gifts or for something for my self. The store is pretty small, it primarily carries men's items, they have a very small selection of kids or baby items, and an even smaller selection of items for women. The staff have always been super welcoming and friendly. They will order anything for you if a size or a color aren't available in store. The store also carries work boots, socks and belts. Even though the women's section is very small, their beanies, tee shirts and hoodies can be unisex, depending on the size of course. This is a great store, with wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I encourage you to stop by if you're in the area.”

“Move over L.L Bean. This is truly an exceptional customer services. I purchased a winter coat last year, and it had several mechanical issues with the zipper. I brought it back to the closet store of my residence this year to see what the store can offer me. To my surprise, the store staff offered me an even exchange for another similar coat while I was in the store, so it wouldn't leave me coatless during the winter. After making me the offer, the staff worked with me diligently to locate another coat in my size, and color which is not a walk in the park. That's an outstanding way of taking care of your customers, and stand behind your products. I'm glad I didn't make a purchase at L.L. Bean for my current winter coat!”
