“I started doing personal training with the owner, Ryan, about 2 months ago. I’ve had to do a lot of “unlearning” when it comes to fitness and weight training and finally got to a good head space with my own idea of how to stay healthy and strong.I decided I wanted to try to safely start training with heavier weights again and didn’t know where to begin. Hook’d was close to my house and I was impressed with the website and how they actually required you to do 6 private sessions to ensure your form was correct and safe before joining group classes. There was also (amazingly) a strong focus on mobility in their verbiage vs “weight loss”. So I took the leap and did the free consultation with Ryan!Thankfully, I did! Ryan was honest with me from the onset that group classes probably were not a good fit for me. He was genuine and was looking out for me, not trying to pitch me on private training at all. I asked about private sessions and 8 weeks later I’m so thankful I found Ryan and Hook’d!! I feel stronger and I feel safe and supported working with Ryan each week. He clearly is invested in understanding the best approach to exercise for my body and I noticed a difference in only a few weeks both in and out of session in my daily life.Besides that, the rest of the coaches and all the people I have met in passing who attend Hook’d are kind, funny, human, and the opposite of judgmental. It’s unlike any other gym environment I’ve ever been in and I would highly recommend Hook’d for both their classes and private training. I sincerely look forward to my time there each week and trust in Ryan to help me accomplish my goals in an intentional and knowledgeable way that most of the fitness industry lacks.”

“I have been training with coach Andreas one-on-one since 2014. When I was pregnant a few years ago my doctor cleared me to continue my training, and Andreas and Deb modified my workout accordingly at each stage of my pregnancy. I was able to continue training up to my due date, which made it so much easier to get back into training once the doctor released me after delivery. My strength goals are always a priority here, and my concerns are always considered when designing my workouts.”

“I really like this place. As others have said it’s small but that means it doesn’t get super busy which is awesome. The owner Anthony is all around a nice guy - no pressure to sign a long contract and doesn’t hit you with absurd fees for everything. Location is also ideal if you ask me.”

“I trained w/ Brian from last May 2022 thru early 2023. Not only was he great to work with, he is encouraging, knowledgeable, funny and straightforward. He makes training/working out fun and worthwhile. I learned a lot and continue to put into practice what he taught me (from what I can remember). He would fit me into his schedule 9/10 times, even on short notice. If he couldn't, I would go to PF or take a night off. The only reason I stopped going was a financial one. When I started, I was in a better financial position. But as time went on, my situation changed. He and Joni were very accommodating and understanding of my situation. I'm hoping to continue with Brian in the near future once my situation changes. I have a trip planned for March 2023 that I need to be in shape for. I highly recommend Body Physics.”

“Holy sh*t. This is by far the best gym I've ever been to. They literally have like 14 squat racks if I counted right. They have an insane selection of machines. They have strongman equipment and bumper plates for Olympic Lifting. They host some powerlifting meets, and a bunch more stuff. The crowd is friendly and ranges from casual gym goers to professional athletes. The staff is extremely competent. They have an in house physical therapist (who's awesome). There's literally too much to mention in one review... Basically if you live within driving range, this is the gym to go to. I commute 45 min round trip just to train here.”

“I love coming here everyday it feels welcoming and not intimidating. I used to be so anxious to go to the gym because everything looked so complicated and crowded, but this place barely has a lot of people, and when they do have people, everyone's doing their own thing. It's very clean and the equipment seems fairly new. The bathrooms are sparkling. There's nice signs around that say things like "you belong," which actually made me feel better and more motivated. Love it here!”
