“Our expectations were far exceeded at Hillstead House! We had an amazing tour with Sharon as our guide who had an incredible wealth of knowledge and a visible genuine passion for the museum. Every room was filled with priceless treasures including several Monet and Degas paintings among other unique works of art mixed in among China dating back to 600BC! The rooms were lush with a quiet dignity despite their rich artifacts and the museum has done a wonderful job with it's upkeep. Would highly recommend!!”

“I recently used this location for what was a reception of my sister and my new in-laws after a beautiful wedding ceremony this decent size location was utilized by my family and friends for just as beautiful celebration the location is conveniently in downtown New Britain Connecticut right off the highway before they're enough away so there's not a lot of traffic. I like that is located near a few restaurants and fast food locations so if you run out of food or someone doesn't like the food being served you can go grab you something else to eat is also quite a few adult beverage stores in the area so people can BYOB! They have a nice size kitchen where we were able to keep the food fresh and hot and also to serve the guests. I had a great time dancing all over the place and had a good amount of space to do so I was very tired for the couple days afterwards. As I was not responsible for the event I do not know the pricing or the quality of the customer service. I just know that the hall was clean and had a lot of space to hold a large crowd of people. I would utilize this space again for future events for sure.”
“This is a members only establishment., although I have been patronizing Cippanee Golf Club since the original owners owned it since I was a toddler. My Grandparents were avid golfers & members for decades. We just celebrated my Grandmother's Centennial birthday at Chippanee & because of her long years of membership & her love for the game of golf... ⛳Cheers!”

“Location nearby business venue. Clean and quiet. Room was spacious. Complimentary breakfast with plenty of protein and fat made the stay perfect. Very minor inconvenience are lack of USB chargers. Bring your wall warts!”
“I don't even know where to start, the beginning is probably best I guess. After searching many venues we fell on Hawks, I wasn't particularly thrilled with being a "country club bride or a "golf course bride" but in lieu of not finding anything we liked, I placed a call to Hawks to see if we could tour the Bella Vista to have our October wedding at. My call was picked up by McKenzie; who by all accounts and everything she was saying was the SOUL reason I was interested in doing more than just "touring". She had the most assuring, calming, and knowledgeable presence over the phone. I was "sold" instantly, without even seeing the venue myself.
A few weeks later we tour, I end up loving it. If you've never been married before, or have no idea what goes into weddings or wedding planning, it's chaos (mostly) there are many unknowns, a lot of vendors and outside influences you have to rely on- I felt confident in relying on Mckenzie and her team. They absolutely without a hitch nailed every single detail in a very professional, very friendly manner. I have deducted a star as you can see, and that's for the affiliation of the "caterers" that hawks use's,there will be a separate review for them as nothing in this review, currently echos the "experience" we received with "Spice" catering.
Thank you Hawks Landing and team for bringing everything together and making the entire wedding smooth and enjoyable.

“Clean room with above average bed comfort. Sheets were clean but worn, covered in bobbles. Bathroom in king room didn’t really have a vanity.Breakfast was about average for complimentary offerings but restocking was infrequent. Two of 4 hot food selections were not available throughout the time we ate.Even room numbers face the interstate and road drone is noticeable.”
