“I loved the learning experience but the director did not understand me and my child needs when she kept getting sick there and had to be in the hospital. And never gave me a chance to have a meeting with me to explain what’s going just dismiss us because I did not give a two weeks notice. I love all the staff there though!”

“My daughter is in her second year at WCNS and Patty and the teachers feel like family. We have truly found community through her school experience here and we know that is special. WCNS is play-based learning at it's best- there is always a wonderful variety of things to do but most importantly, Patty and the teachers are exceptional.”

“We are very satisfied with this preschool. The teachers and the director make an amazing job at creating a safe place where kids are encouraged to follow their interests and learn about themselves and about the world they live in by playful experimentation.”

“My son was in the infant room here from 9 weeks to 8 months before we moved out of state. I was ALWAYS impressed with the staff here. They were always loving and observant of my baby's needs and personality and always very communicative with me. The building was always clean and happily decorated. We miss sending our kiddo here very much and would recommend this place to anyone in the area.”

“I would describe myself as an "anxious parent." When looking for a preschool for my son I visited bunch of different schools in the area! Bethesda was the last one I went too. As soon as I walked in I was hooked. I have to give a lot of the credit to the director Sara. She is very warm and understanding, she listened to all my concerns and made me very very comfortable. The classroom feels like home! The best part is they have an in door climber room with a slide that is my sons favorite!I was most attracted to the shorter schedule as most nursery schools in the area do not offer anymore. 8:15 Am -1:00pm as well as later hours. It was very important to me to find a school that did not a have a big turn around with teachers. Bethesda teachers have all been there longer the 5 years, some more then 15 years!Good communication is very important to me, if my son has a hard morning and I want to call just to check in I know that I can and they get back to be quickly and often with a photo of him elbows deep in some sort of project.Bethesda becomes a second home for your child. My son talks about his teachers at home all the time. He wants to go to school in the morning. I feel so happy knowing I found the perfect place for my son to spend his first years of school!”

“Teachers are great. My granddaughter has learned so much. She knows how to write her name, her numbers, alphabet, manners, so much more. She even picked up Spanish too, which is a plus for us. She is now ready for kindergarten. Yay! thank you for all you do. God bless!”

“Wow!! I am here crying because I missed being a kid going there. After school, I get to go there to do homework and join different activities. It's not only that, but it is a great place for daycare. Oh, I missed those days. I remember Gladys mostly and the dance classes. So much fun! 2000's were the best”

“Great people. Great mission. They encourage taking classes "downtown" at Yale proper. Great staff and professors. Hard work. Overall, a user friendly experience.”

“This is one of the newer schools in New Haven and a great one at that. My friend has a son here. He went from below average in every subject to average and above average in a range of subjects. And he has learning disabilities... You tell me??!! Go Jepson!!”
