“I recently shipped a high-value piece of equestrian equipment through the Southington UPS store. I was so nervous to pack it, as it was high quality and the buyer paid a lot of money for it, so I felt it would be more responsible to have a professional pack it. It was also a sentimental piece that I was hesitant to sell, and it was emotional for me to drop off. I received a message from the buyer today, and they said it was impeccably packed. She said it was “immaculate” and that I should “reach a class on shipping.” I was so relieved! I told her I had it professionally packed and that I would definitely be using UPS for all of my future packing. I’m sure she will, too! This was a very stressful item for me to part with and I really appreciated the care taken in packing and shipping.”

“Had a great experience at this store. Had a out of date expired Hp ink cartridges that purchased from another Staples. I call Hp and they told me to bring them to a Staples. Was greeted by the store manager and I was already a little upset because of the Hp cartridges would not work. The manager at the store went above and beyond as a manager to accommodate for the Hp Cartridges that would not work. He enlightened to situation with a humorous story he told me which made me feel comfortable. After giving him my Staples account that I have used for years the gentleman exchange the expired cartridges I had purchased with new updated ones. These are very expensive and thought I was out of $135 for purchasing them. I own several businesses and wish some of my managers would perform as he did taking care of the problem and me leaving with new ink cartridges as a happy Staples customer Want to Thank him for the help and enlightening the situation. “StaplesEver since I was a teenager, I've had a weird fascination with office supplies. This has been passed down to my kiddo, and as such, we visit the Middletown Staples pretty often.As soon as I walk in, I always look immediately to the left, to see if the clerk I really like is there. Today he was, and today I learned his name was Jim. Jim is always helpful, no matter what. If I have a question about something, or can't find something, he will walk me over to it. When I was looking for an obsolete printer cartridge, he made sure to find it for me!But Jim is also a fantastic person, just all around. He puts a smile on my face every time I see him. He is genuinely happy, and it totally shows!! Jim should be recognized for the positivity he spreads to everyone. (Also, I told Jim I was gonna write this when I was in earlier today, lol)!!”

“After a very poor customer service experience at Glastonbury i decided to call the west Hartford location to see if i would get some help beyond "you have to have the design in your email" (for business cards). I called print & marketing (in west hartford) , shared the nightmare i had at Glastonbury with Alyssa. She was so awesome! very understanding and even invited me to their location to help my situation. When i arrived i was so impressed ! i met Mike the manager there and he shared his sympathy with me but then not only helped me get my order right. He also guided me through the mobile app and helped me save some rewards points for the next visit. Between Alyssa and Mike i'll absolutely take that 20 min drive from Glastonbury for my business supply needs. Thank u guys so much !”

“I use this post office regularly, and when I first moved into town I kind heave thought people weren’t as friendly as I thought a small town would be, but then I started talking to the people just a short conversation being friendly , and that’s all it takes. Think about it your dealing with a lot of people who just come to the counter and say maybe 5-7 words and nothing else hand a pkg over or letters , pay for them and literally walk away without a thank you or have a nice day. Think about how you would feel after 8 hours of helping people and many not acknowledging you.So the next time you write a review first think about how you treated the PERSON behind the counter!!Donna Benjamin”

“I went sometime in the last hour before close. Originally I meant to go to the USPS, but working during the hours they are open is a huge inconvenience. Bit the bullet; my sister's birthday gift was already late at this point. I searched up Fedex (I didn't want to patronize the UPS store I had most recently been to) and hopped in the car with my GPS on. The location itself was very convenient--literally on my way to the grocery store, no detours even to a side street. What really made it special? Diane, who checked me out. For someone at the end of her shift, Diane was both cheerful and super helpful. I don't ship packages often enough to have a favorite place, but I know where I'm going if I do need to.”
