“The Coginchaug Market is out in Middlefield at the intersection of rt 157 and Strickland. For me, it is out in the country where there are way more trees than anything else. I happened by because I was attending a high school rugby match at the nearby Peckham Park. It was near lunch, I was hungry and needed some sustenance. Well, Coginchaug Market delivered. In addition to the snacks, sodas, juices, energy drinks, candy, etc., they also sell some necessities like bread, milk and eggs. But they also make sandwiches. Boar's Head of course. And this roast beef and swiss was good! The place would be perfect if they sold fresca! The clerk was friendly, attentive and made the sandwich quickly. If you are going to Peckham Park, this is the place to stop for snacks! Enjoy! I did.”
“Love their pies! I prefer to buy them frozen and bake them as needed. Either way they're always a hit with the family. Bumbleberry is the fam fav. But all the pies are great; flaky crusts and stuffed with fruit.”
