“My family is from Michoacán, Mexico, my mom is a great cook and I lived in LA for many years so I can tell good Mexican food just by looking at a picture. We were close by and decided to check this place out. The staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. My husband had carnitas and barbacoa tacos and I had carne asada and carnitas tacos. They were all absolutely delicious. Authentic, extremely flavorful, lots of meat and the salsa had the right amount of kick to it! This place is also a Mexican market so you can get pan dulce, spices, candy, etc. We will be back for more!”

“They are a 24 HR Convenience store where you can buy soda, chips, candy, milk, bread, cigarettes, CT lottery tickets & etc. The good thing is they very rarely close even during bad winter snow & ice storms. Items are also priced reasonable for a convenience store, they take snap/food stamps, they have a ATM & you can also make copies there for a cheap price.”

“I'm so happy Aresco's has reopened under the original owners! The owner and the staff are so friendly and you can tell they take pride in their store. The hours are great, especially if you are local and just need to make a quick run for milk or other essentials. Aresco's has a great selection of fresh food including fresh bread/fruits/veggies, as well as frozen/packaged food. I would like to try more from the deli- I've only tried the kabobs so far (-they were tasty). Aresco's is also neat and tidy. Love this place!”

“I love the bakery at Big Y. They have the most delicious paczki (Polish donuts but better) that are made to celebrate Fat Thursday but also very important is the customer service. PJ and the other staff in the bakery, are a pleasure to talk with because they have a friendly attitude and you leave smiling. I favor the flavor few like but is the best (more for me) the traditional prune. PJ and the staff offered to put two on the side for me until I could pick them up a few times. I gained 5 pounds but I give 5 stars and more for this bakery.”
