Absolutely the worst. These people are a disgrace. My mother passed with NOTHING. She had a second mortgage with them and they are suing my brother and I for the loan from someone who passed 3 years ago and the worst part is they charged interest on a dead woman's loan. How despicable is that. Do they even have souls. Not to mention we live paycheck to paycheck, can't afford a lawyer and the interest they charged after she passed and court fees lawyer fees marshal fees ect. made the loan over 10,000$ more than it was. This is only part of why im leaving a bad review. STAY AWAY

I been a member at this bank for 20+ years it’s time to started looking for a better bank.I had like $50 in change that was wrapped neatly in $10 quarter change wrapped. She had the nerve to tell me she can only do a certain amount if this is my bank what I look like walking in to Bank of America mind you I’m not even a member and they did it with no problem. Over it it’s time

I have always been treated by friendly and professional staff. The teller at the drive through window the inside tellers, receptionist and the security guard, I have never had a negative experience.

In these hard times when people are struggling to pay for food gas and rent most institutions are eliminating over draft and NSF fees. However Not Hartford Federal instead they continue to charge excessive fees and don't offer help when you are struggling. 35 dollars used to be a weeks worth of groceries or a tank of gas. Not in today's economy. But getting hit with that fee still hurts all the same.Hartford federal will close your account if you can't pay all the fees.Under there own "Benefits of Membership" page they say under "Value","We act in your best interest and use our earnings to benefit our members:... fewer and lower fees,..."They say that but there Fees are Higher than the average now. Many big banks have eliminated Overdraft fees and NSF fees, Like Citibank, Capital One, and Ally. Even Bank of America Eliminated NSF Fees but reduced there Overdraft to $10. Key bank even reduced there fees. Some of these banks lost a $100 million plus revenue stream from this. But they did it to help those who where struggling. Why can't Hartford federal do the same thing?Instead they pray on the those just barely scraping by.Even a single $35 fee hurts. Thats at least 2 hours of work for most of us.

Let me tell you how unprofessional these employees are after I made my loan payment 2 days early. Imani Shelton extension 222 accessed my checking account and a made a transfer of MY money to another account without my permission or knowledge. When I called to have this information resolved they hanged up on me and refused to talk to me. I left multiple messages and they never called. The employees there are disgusting and it’s a lot of fraudulent unethical people working there. I will be taking legal action against this company. SHE NEEDS TO BE ARRESTED

After reading many negative reviews, I have to say that I had nothing but the best help from Naomi and the lady at the front desk who put me in the wait list to speak with her. This bank was extremely busy but I was in out in timely matter. Suggestion if you are going here is they can get busy don't go on your lunch break and be patient.

This particular bank is distinguished for being dis functional, the atm is always down , very loud at night/very bright green light , I use this bank and live close by , the sound of the atm just echos like a the beacon of annoyance that makes you want to rip your ears out at 4am Over the sound of the ac.The security guard is weird af, people always fighting in the parking lot over the atm line. Cars are constantly driving over the curb loud all times of day. Don’t plan on having a speedy service , make it a day trip .

I chose this credit union because I lived very close to it. There were some good individual employees. But, in general, I can't recommend it. The "no cell phones allowed" policy at this branch made me feel like I was a high school student, not a respected family member, and many employees seemed bored or uninterested in their work, exactly the opposite of typical credit union friendliness. I felt like there were an unreasonable number of fees, including one they tried to charge me for writing down my address incorrectly when I opened an account.
