“I've been here since April of 2023. I really like it here so far. I have no trouble finding parking. It's a pretty safe community. The apartment itself is very nice and the price is great for the space. I have not had any issues getting maintenance to fix things. Only complaint is the front gate system is outdated and doesn't work. However, they are working on fixing it.”

“First and foremost I am in love with my 2 bedroom apartment at the ******* ** ***** *****. I am giving them 5 stars because they are professional and such an amazing company. I am writing this review on behalf of my personal experience with Antoinette who has been one of the most phenomenal owners I have ever met. Her daughter Gianna is also so available and knowable about the property at the ******** ***** ****** I must say the on site maitenance crew is awesome as well. Every time you call they are right here to deal with what ever is going on in a professional manner. That is very important for me as well. It’s a shame that people are writing bad reviews about this company, I feel those people must have had a different experience. But the facts are is that *** ******* ** ***** ***** is such a gorgeous place to live. It’s also safe and the neighbors are friendly and always willing to assist if they see me carrying bags or boxes. This building where I live is going to be my home for some years. Again I need to say I feel very safe, and the neighbors look out as well as the cameras which are detect any suspicious behaviors. I am so glad that I waited a year to move here at these luxury apartments at the ******** Even though there is construction going on in the building next door, people have to have patience and consideration for the new development takes time. In closing, to whom it may concern I am a proud tenant at the ******* ** ***** ***** *********** and the management of JFA is phenomenal company. I am thankful for Antoinette, her daughter, and also Anne . I will share and spread lots of love for the JFA family owned company. I also would like to start a board of trustee for this company so it can expand. I am proud also. “I spent a year living here and have come away with a largely positive impression, despite some substantial areas for improvement:Pros:Attractive AmenitiesModern Design: The apartments are clean and contemporary with high ceilings and spacious windows.Excellent Staff: Always friendly and willing to help, both the office and maintenance teams.Reliable Package ManagementMaintenance Team: Quick and thorough with any repairs needed.Cons:Pricing Issues: At $4.5K for a 1000sqft apartment in New Haven, the costs are continually rising and don't align with the market.Unreliable Wifi: The common area's connection is sporadic and often drops out.Sound Insulation: The build quality leaves much to be desired; noises from upstairs neighbors are all too clear.Parking Concerns: Maintenance is lacking, with large vehicles blocking views especially at the corners where only compact cars should be allowed, and creating hazards.Important: The overall experience could also be dampened by some residents' behavior. There are often trash bags on the ground in trash rooms and it looks very dirty (which is not expected for a luxury apartment), the trolleys are often missing, people take them and don't return them, and there is no one dealing with loud neighbors at 1am. While you can't easily fix the building insulation problems, such issues this are easily addressable.”

“I lived at Alvista for a year. I loved it. The staff is nice and on top of things. I have lived in other complexes where if you had a problem it took days for maintenance to come. Whenever there was issue it was resolved ASAP. I moved because I bought a house. This was the best apartment. I miss it . I am glad that I had this experience. I would rent here if I had to rent again.”

“I've lived at The Novella for about 4 months, and it's been awesome! First off, the location is great – right near downtown, surrounded by many great places to eat. Whether I'm in the mood for something fancy or just a quick bite, everything's just a walk away. The apartment itself is super cozy and just nice to be in with thoughtfully designed rooms. For me, the best part is the apartment management team. From leasing to maintenance, every interaction has been a pleasure. The staff are not only professional but also genuinely caring.”

“If you’re looking for luxury apartment living that is affordable in the New Haven area, definitely consider Canal Crossing. Unlike many other luxury complexes in the area, Canal Crossing offers free parking and close proximity to a large shopping complex for all of your errands. The complex is incredibly clean and grounds are well maintained. Excess noise was never an issue. The staff is wonderful. They also bring in food trucks for the residents to enjoy. My husband and I also loved being right on the canal trail for taking our bikes down to New Haven.Canal Crossing offers the best bang for your buck in the Hamden/New Haven area.”
