“Buying a used car can be the most daunting experience - especially for a New Yorker like me who has never bought her own car and is a prime target for being taken for a ride - but not here. Steven, Ted, and the whole team treat you like family. I got the most incredibly maintained 2011 Land Rover LR4 (named her Clarice, which everyone played along with. Like I said, family!). No trouble thus far but if anything were to need to be fixed (or when she needs a tune up and oil change) I know they’ll take great care of me. They don’t see you as just another sale and never want to talk to you again; I’ve never felt like a burden even when asking 100 questions I could probably have Googled. They’re convenient to NYC in New Rochelle no matter if you drive or train. Best decision I have made in a very long time. Could not recommend more!”

“It's strange that i see a lot of complaints on customer service but my experience for the past 3 months I've been renting is completely different. Gina and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with. Yes, sometimes the responses could be curt but they always anticipate my needs and questions and always offer alternative solutions if required.
They are also very proactive and i have received calls ahead of time to remind me of drop offs especially during the weekend where i was not aware of timing of business closing hours. This definitely saved me money in penalties.”

“Today was my first time using Budget car rental. They had very competitive prices compared to another rental company. The lady Angeline was super nice and professional. She put me in a really nice, new car. This will be my new go-too rental spot. Had a very pleasant experience.”
“The car was fine and priced reasonably. I had rated Enterprise three stars because of a couple of issues described below. But when I returned the car, the service was so great and the guy was so nice that I added a star.
The two issues (neither of which the local guy has any control over):
1. You can't get the local office on the phone. Call and call, go through menus, hold and hold, eventually give up.
2. I like small cars and they no longer rent subcompacts. The smallest car feels huge to me. (Corollas and Versas, so probably not to others.)”
“I had a fabulous experience buying a car from Toyota of Stamford. Burton was ever the professional, educated us about the different options we had, and answered our questions. We never felt any pressure to buy, even when we went to explore used car options from other dealerships. He just shared the information he had and let us make our own decisions. Burton was also honest about what he did and didn't know, which I always appreciate in a sales person. On the financing front, I'd gotten a great deal from my credit union. The dealership decided to match it, which made it possible for us to leave with the car same-day.”

“I booked a rental from Budget while home in Trinidad because I knew I would be in Stamford. When I got there in person, everything was so smooth. No confusion about who I was or what I wanted. I drove a Mazda CX 30. It took me a minute to get familiar with the vehicle, but once I did, and I hit the road, it was smooth sailing. I'd definitely recommend and rent from here again when I'm in Stamford.”

“Love Enterprise! The manager Joe and Samba will go out of their way to make your experience great. They are friendly, quick and efficient. I’ve been renting with this location exclusively for the past year. I won’t go to another location due to the fact that these two men treat their customers very well. “No issues with vehicles operating as they should. Check in process is the same even if you add your information online. Vehicles at the airport have high mileage. Staff is friendly and usually out pretty fast. No covered parking lot at Westchester so be prepared for the weather.”
“This is one of the best Avis local offices! As a PC member, I am always recognized. Cars are very clean and low mileage. The staff are friendly and super quick, even when it is a busy holiday weekend. They do their best to solve any problem. Its worth a couple of extra stops on Metro North just to rent from here.”

“Great experience at HPN and Hertz. Super easy to get the car and get out, and even easier to return it. When we pulled in, there was a guy there named Chris in the parking lot that took care of everything for us and was super nice - great representative for the company! If I ever return to that area I’d go with Hertz again for sure.”

“This was my first time renting a car (25, woohoo) and I picked a model I was somewhat familiar with - prices were better than I was expecting - and the staff were friendly and straightforward - was much appreciated and went very smoothly! Staff member looked over the car with me beforehand and pointed out scratches that were already there. And she filled up the tires before handing it over because the light was on. Felt very good about it. Just know there isn't a drop box for keys though at this location, so you'll have to be aware of when you're returning the car sometime during open hours.”
