“The store was very clean, organized, and the shelves were not overly cluttered. The selections were varied, and the the price points had a good range. I did not go in with the intention to buy, but just to look around. I did find a wonderful yarn, that is going to make a beautiful and warm cowl. The employees were friendly, and very helpful.Just wish it was closer to my home”

“Loved this cute little store! The shop owner was very friendly and helpful. She has a great selection of a little bit of everything. Jewelry, candles, coffee mugs, coastal things, sweets, sea glass art, is just the beginning of the list! Mostly everything sold there is handmade by local artisans. I was able to find the perfect gift for someone who has everything. A beautiful coconut bowl that the owner hand selected while in Thailand. Seems like every item there comes with a great story. While I was checking out she even offered to gift wrap my purchase which was just going above and beyond. If you get the chance do yourself a favor and check this place out.”

“Went to Westville General to pick up some local New Haven themed gifts. It was a very cute and quaint shop. If you want local CT and New England items in the heart of Westville...this is your spot. We picked up two wooden spoons for a gift. One said New Haven, CT and the other said can't only eat Apizza. We grabbed an East Rock postcard and some stickers as well. The shopkeeper was very sweet and willing to help. This is definitely not an essentials store, but a really nice spot to pursue and buy unique items.”

“Adorable little shop with home goods and a handful of souvenirs if you were here to look at the Thimble Islands. Today the shop was manned by a couple of sweet young girls. I was thinking about getting a t-shirt and wasn't quite sure if it fit me. No fitting room, but a couple of hours later I tried it on and it didn't quite fit, so they happily took it back and refunded it on my card.”

“I purchased a beautiful sofa/sleeper set from this furniture store during Covid, and I have to say that their customer service is exceptional. Not only did they help me pick out the perfect furniture for my home, but they also provided top-notch after-sales service over 2 years after my purchase! Recently I noticed a small issue with one of the straps used to pull out the bed on my sofa. I called the store to see if they could help me. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Colleen, one of the owners, responded and how eager she was to assist me. She listened carefully to my concerns and was able to send out a technician to my home within a few days of receiving the replacement part from the Sofa manufacturer. The technicians who came to my home were friendly and professional, and they were able to fix the issue with my straps in no time. They took the time to explain what they were doing and to answer any questions that I had. I was very impressed by their expertise and attention to detail. At this time we noticed that there was some movement in the bed when fully stretched out. The technician Adel, took a video and showed it to Lao, another owner, to see what was needed to fix the issue. Lao then determined it was a faulty mechanism and ordered the parts needed to fix this issue.It was a complex mechanism that controlled the opening and closing of the sleeper section, and so when the parts were received by Fairhaven Furniture, the same technician, Adel came and spent over 2 hours to replace the faulty mechanism.Overall, I have to say that this furniture store's after-sales customer service is outstanding. They really went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality furniture and exceptional customer service. “Huge showroom with so much to choose from. We bought brown leather reclining couches. The service was excellent. One salesperson helped us through the entire process. The couches are being paid for through a Jordan's credit card, which makes them affordable. The value is good and we're happy with the new couches, which are sturdy, firm and roomy. Jordan's is a great place to walk around and get ideas for refurnishing your home and adding decor. The ratio of salespeople to shoppers is high so there's always someone available to ask questions. I recommend visiting if you're in the market for new furniture.”

“A really excellent store for Home Decor. A marriage between Christmas Tree Shops and Home Goods. The store is on the expensive side, but the quality does seem to be there so I don't mind paying for a good quality product.The store is clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate. I will also say that the Supervisor Karen is fantastic. We had a product that was not ringing up at the correct price (the bar code was not registering the discount) and Karen took care of the entire problem for us. In other stores, you would have been told "tough". It was nice to see that this error was corrected.I will be back. Overall, a great store, with great people working in it; but on the expensive side.”

If You Ever Need Any Craft Supplies Or Fabric To Back Something For Someone Then Go To Joann's Fabric And Crafts.”
