816 High Ridge Rd, Stamford“We have been beyond thrilled with Building Blocks High Ridge. We moved over to this location about 9 months ago now and we have honestly been blown away by the attention and love that is given to our almost 2 year old. The facilities are bright with lots of windows and the gym and playground are incredible. Everything is size and age appropriate. They do a ton of fun projects, read lots of books and truly follow a curriculum. We are lucky enough to have Miss Maryori and Miss Sandy as our son's main teachers. To me there is no more important job in the world than who is watching our children, and these women are kind, smart, and truly care about the well being of these kids. I highly recommend Building Blocks High Ridge.”

Collaboration is encouraged, ideas are respected, and everyone works together towards a common goal: providing the best possible care for the children. What sets the staff at Building blocks apart is our unwavering dedication and passion for their work. Every day, I witness firsthand the love, patience, and enthusiasm they pour into their interactions with the children. Whether it's leading engaging activities, comforting a crying toddler, or celebrating a milestone achievement, each staff member goes above and beyond to ensure the children feel loved, supported, and cherished.Professionalism is also evident in every aspect of the job. From maintaining a clean and safe environment to effectively communicating with parents, the staff at Building Blocks consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism and competence. “My daughter started going to SLS at the beginning of this year, and in matter of a couple of days, she was completely adjusted! She loves being there with the teachers and her friends.. to the point she runs in the minute we enter the facility. SLS is also on top of it when it comes to communicating with parents on everything which helps to stay informed about your child. Overall, we are very happy to have made the switch to SLS.”

“Our family is very happy with all aspects of CFS. Our son loves it here. CFS is over 20 min from our house so it isn’t the most convenient school for us but it is the best fit. Lots of outdoor play, art projects and child directed educational activities with a focus on emotional well being. Our son has thrived in this environment.”
“The Goddard school is terrific! All the teachers and staff are top notch, the facilities are incredible and the curriculum is fantastic! So glad we discovered this wonderful community for our kids!”
“The Baby Cottage has been a godsend for our infant daughter. She was a mere 4 months old when she started, and as new parents, my husband and I were inherently concerned about her development and quality of life overall. Each day we pick her up at Baby Cottage, she has an illuminating smile. The staff is extremely professional, kind, and very much engaged with each child. Everyday we receive a detailed hand-written report-out on her progress, which I have a great deal of respect for personally. As parents, we also value that Baby Cottage has no TVs, as we've heard stories where daycares simply use television as a device to distract/calm the children vs. actually interacting with them. Not to mention, they supply all diapers, formula, and food for the children. You cannot find a better situation than this. I highly recommend The Baby Cottage to any parent whether your child is an infant or toddler.”
“Updated: We have been with Goddard now for 3 1/2 years and still love it just as much as we did when we dropped our first son. Now both my boys go to Goddard and we cannot thank the school enough for their support with our children. It has been only two months since we dropped our son off for his first day of daycare, but it feels like forever. We wanted to thank you and your entire staff for making us feel like family from day one. Getting pictures throughout the day and reading the reports once he is picked up reassures us every day that sending him to Goddard was one of the best decisions we could have ever made for him. We never thought that we would feel bad picking him up because it looks like he and his teachers are just having so much fun. Which brings us to our next point, the teachers. Ms. Anna, Ms. Carolina, Ms. Amy, Ms. Sharon, and Ms. Kate are so wonderful. The amount of attention they give to our son is remarkable and it shows. When we drop him off in the morning they are so eager and excited to see him and sometimes we feel bad when they want me to hand him over, but we just need a couple more seconds of a hug before we give him to them for the day.We can't thank you enough for what you have done for our family these past two months and look forward to enjoying many more occasions with you all.”
“We are so happy with our decision to put our son in Nitzan. He is so well taken care of and supported. On days off he starts pulling us to walk there (we live miles away). We've registered him for summer camp and the fall program. Nitzan's director, Amy, is absolutely wonderful and we're all lucky to have her. She really took the time to work with us and is extremely attentive to every detail about both the kids and the parents needs.During our son's first semester there this spring he was diagnosed with autism. We had suspected something was up, but this was confirmation. Just before his evaluation the staff, very gently and discreetly, let us know about some of the difficulties he was having. We truly appreciated their attentiveness, and the follow up accommodations they've made for him. He's been making excellent progress, and his therapists have been welcomed into the nursery to work with him in that setting from time to time.We highly recommend Nitzan for your family (and highly disagree with the negative review someone left here back in 2018).”
“The staff at TLE Stamford have been so warm and inviting to my son and our family! The directors greet you as soon as you walk in and know each child by name which is impressive with so many little ones! My son’s teachers have been so loving and attentive. My husband and I have seen him grow and develop so much since starting daycare and it is truly a testament to the time and dedication the staff at TLE put into fostering all of the children. We highly recommend TLE!”
“Great school from my experience! My son loved going to school here from the explorer program all the way to pre-K 4. They have lovely enrichment options like field trips, music and gym. They are welcoming and inclusive to all. The lesson plans are always sent to you as a parent ahead of time and they incorporate family projects into their monthly curriculum. I have been thrilled with them and appreciate that the lunch and snack program is inclusive in the tuition. As a hard working parent, I recognize they are not for profit and run by a board inclusive of parents. These are all benefits to the "everyday" working parent and the reasons why I refer them to my friends. Too often, we are quick to write reviews on negative experiences, myself included. I wanted to take the time to note this positive one for future parents considering applying to this school. Schedule a tour and check them out, you can decide for yourself. I cannot say enough good things, even through the uncertain times of the covid pandemic where everyone was learning to navigate a new path, they communicated upfront and valued parental feedback. Their was notable turnover in staff during that time as with all industries but this has since stabilized. I can honestly say they have always made every effort to accommodate the collective needs of the parents. This speaks volumes as to why my children return year after year.”
“Excellent pre school program! Great staff that really cared for the children. The communication with parents was really helpful. My kids came home Happy every day.”
“It was hard finding a local place that had camera access for the parents. After their old daycare removed this benefit I had to start looking at other options and I’m glad I found Tutor Time. Their program is awesome and the staff is super sweet. Tiffany does a great job leading her team and the teachers seem to actually care for the kids. I have a 1 year and a pre schooler here.”
“We love Pumpkin Preschool in Westport!! Our son Sully loves his teachers and friends. He comes homes with crafts everyday and we get photos throughout the day of Sully doing all sorts of activities and getting his outside time in on nice days. We are so thankful for this school and can’t wait to have sully go here until kindergarten ❤️”
“My son was struggling with connecting the letters to their sounds, which impacted his confidence as well as his performance and behavior in school. The team at Lindamood-Bell knew exactly how to help him! He completed their Seeing Stars program and is now confidently participating in group reading lessons at school. I highly recommend Lindamood-Bell to parents whose children are struggling with the reading curriculum as it is taught in school.”
