“My fiancée and I recently had the pleasure of visiting the State and Liberty store in Westport, CT as we prepared for two very special events: our wedding and our honeymoon. What we expected to be a simple shopping trip turned into an unforgettable experience, thanks to the incredible staff, the comforts of the stores and the impeccable quality of the clothing.
From the moment we walked into the store, we were blown away by the attentiveness, care, and professionalism of the staff. “Joe Zemo is a "different" kind of guy. He is not your expected pleasant mildly obsequious tailor. If anything he's a bit of the opposite. He is opinionated and often loud and even may appear to some to be arrogant. He really isn't, he cares about his clients and their appearance. He has definite opinions but he is very often right, and he will do right by you. His main business is formal wear rentals but he has a made to measure service which is very good. And he utilizes very good companies to produce his piece goods. I have never done a suit with him but I would imagine it would be a successful project. I am overall pleased with my experience with shirts and trousers. Don't let the mid-60s (mid-50s?) look of the shop or Joe's demeanor stop you. If you are pleasant to him he will be to you, even if at times he remind you of a football or basketball coach. He maybe the only old-style men's clothing store left in Stamford, and he is with a visit.”

You have to experience it for your self, ask for them by name. ?% you will not be disappointed. My wife and I are still talking about it, how about that. “Although this store is much smaller than the one in Greenwich, the service is absolutely amazing. When I walked in I was greeted by the staff immediately. Justine knows that it's my very first time there, he quickly shows me where everything is. He also pointed out the sales items. I took an item to the fitting room to try it on. Justine checked with me if the shirt fits and offered to bring me a slightly larger one. While he was ringing up my item, I described one item that I like from the store and he immediately helped me to look for it, although he couldn't my size. The customer service in this store is undoubtedly superb.”

“When I asked Siri to call this Old Navy in Norwalk, it said it had only 1 star and did I still want to call!? I had been there in the past and it’s been a little rough around the edges. But I did proceed and I have to write this review because today , not only did the person answer the phone courteously and stop to find an item I needed, the store was immaculate when I came to pick it up later. EVERYTHING was in its place and the three ladies closing were eager to help me and knowledgeable and capable. 5 stars for me.”

Sam, Mai, Kathleen, Beverly, Tiffany, Jessica, Susan, Mel are the associates I've worked with throughout my many recent visits at this store and they are always incredible and eager to help. Wether I am looking for a gift or something for myself they are always super helpful at helping me find the right size showing me all the color options and ordering anything they may not have in store at the moment to have it shipped to me. These associates are always super warm and welcoming and make my day every time I visit. Truly one of my favorite locations from all the J.Crew Stores in New England. The parking situation could be better. I went on a Friday afternoon during lunch recently and I had to drive around a couple of times to find parking. This place is always busy.”

“I needed a Tuxedo for a wedding that I will be attending and came to the Men's Wearhouse to find it. I was assisted by the store Manager Richard Dolnick. He did a fabulous job helping me pick out the right tux and made sure the measurements that he took were accurate. His suggestions were great and when I got the tux and pants back with the alterations, it looked really good. I appreciate the assistance with this and will be back when I need clothing from this location in Stamford, CT again.”

When she became distraught about leaving the toy behind, Bob generously gifted it to her, touching our hearts and turning a potential meltdown into a moment of pure joy.
