“Went into Silas Deane Pawn to inquire about a preowned Apple I watch. I didn’t want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a brand new Apple Watch in case I didn’t like the feel of it on my wrist. I went into the store with a couple of items to trade as well. I asked many questions about the model of the watch, wrist bands, etc. The staff was incredibly informative and really helped me out not only with some trades but also with all the questions I had about the I watch. They assured me I could bring the watch back within a month or so if it stopped working or had any problems. I forget the kind man’s name that helped me but he was excellent and very helpful. Thank you, SDP for assisting me with professionalism and understanding. I love this watch, and the band!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Has to be the best Pawn Shop around! I hit some hard times and need a few loans, I brought in some family (sentimental valued gold rings and chains, my older brother was a jeweler.) sandy checked it all out, was extremely honest and asked me if I was coming back for all the pieces, I said of course, she said I’m not going to Lie to you Tom, this is worth “A LOT” and asked me what I felt comfortable with and how much I needed. I had checked a few places before her and not one of them said that to me! She’s cut from a different cloth! Thank you so much Sandy for being honest and up front. Just felt like everyone else just wanted to give me a large sum of cash and hope I didn’t come back for the lot of my jewelry. After paying that off and getting my family’s jewelry back, I pawned a couple Snap-On torque wrenches list price over $690. She gave me a a good loan for 2 that I had, and I also picked them back up. “I drove all the way from oxford, wich is a hour drive. It was deff. Worth the trip though!!I had wanted two 2oz bars and they held them for till I got there after a work. Also showed me some other very nice pre 1933 gold eagles, ended up giving me a fare price for a 1903 ten $ gold eagle.I would deff. “Stopped in looking for machinists tools and they didn't have many, they had the basics. But they did have a wide variety of power tools and a vast collection of musical instruments and equipment. This place has a little of this and a little if that. Some coins, some jewelry, some housewares... worth stopping in and checking out what they have.”
