“I have been a customer of Sterling Jewelers for around 20 years. They are family opened in Wethersfield since 1947. They have excellent customer service and always stand behind their products and services. For example if they replace your watch battery, they stand behind it for a year after purchase, while other jewelry stores do not. Recently I took my expensive watch in for a simple repair ( crack in the crystal face ). The watch was still working. It had to be sent back to the factory for the replacement repair. Unfortunately the package containing the watch was lost by the post office and never arrived at the factory. Don Unwin the owner of Sterling Jewelers replaced my watch with a brand new one after allowing time to see if the package could be located. I have had several other different watches sent out by Sterling Jewelers for repairs over the years and never had one get lost in the mail before. NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE ( with a smile). Thank You Don”
“Great business overall, super speedy service. Went in to get a couple watches fixed, both needed battery replacements and one needed a new buckle. They took care everything right away and did it for a fair rate. Spent $20 on everything all together and left with two working watches. Definitely swing by if you need anything! “What a GEM!!! I HATE shopping. I do not enjoy it at all. And being super small, I'm seldom successful (which make it all the more unenjoyable/frustrating). I stopped into Red Door last-minute to try and find an outfit for a holiday party and it was, much to my surprise, such an amazing experience!! The ladies were sooooo helpful and not at all bothered by my pickiness. They found a gorgeous dress and cover up at a very reasonable price in record time. “I brought my engagement ring in to have the original diamond swapped with the diamond from my fiancé’s grandmother’s ring. They told us three weeks and it was finished more than a week early! I was nervous because the band is very thin and the “new” diamond is significantly larger than the original. I am blown away by the workmanship. They made it work SO beautifully! The quality and sturdiness of the prongs makes me feel more comfortable and confident wearing it daily. As a person with limited means, I thought the price was extremely reasonable.I didn’t get to thank the person who worked on my ring, so, THANK YOU!!! I can’t stop staring at it! “This jewelers is now my favorite!I wanted my original diamond reset because it kept breaking. I had brought it to another jeweler that promised to give me an estimate of cost within 1 week. I decided to stop in to P and J to see what they could offer. They were so nice and professional! Not only did they have the band I wanted but they added my diamond, fixed my old wedding band and resized both rings within 2 hours and at half the estimated cost of the other place!THEY GET 5 STARS FROM ME!!!”
