If you need several things, a chair, a headboard, a desk etc, know what you are searching for so that you can pounce on it when you see it! By nature vintage goods are one of a kind.2. Keep an open mind. Don’t go shopping for a specific thing on your list but instead be ready to buy anything on your list. You never know when you will find just the right head board while searching for a desk… And, if something “not on the list” speaks to you, LISTEN. If you just dismiss it out of hand you may be passing up a treasure! It might not be there next week!3. Know your measurements! How wide is the space between those two windows? How deep can that bookcase be? How much room do you have for a dresser between the kid’s beds? How much room for nightstands? How long is your sofa?
