“I want to express my thoughts regarding my experience buying an antique rifle this past weekend. Because of the age of the rifle an administrative glitch occurred with the powers to be. In Connecticut many many steps must be taken to legally purchase a firearm. Mike Reddy and Guy (unknown last name) spend 2 hours and 45 minutes processing my paperwork through telephone with the authorities to get approval for my purchase. I was one customer among many. They demonstrated excellent service and patience in getting through the bureaucratic mess on my behalf. I'm very thankful.”

“First time we have went to this store and we will definitely be back! We had Matt this morning and he went above and beyond for my son. I thought we would have to drop the stick off and go back to pick it up but he said not to worry about going back we could wait like 30min and he would string it up for him. He helped us pick a new head out and then did the colors and what not for the net. My son could not be more pleased and happy with the outcome. “REI is a great place in general, but this particular location is really great. All categories are well stocked, both assortment and size. Staff members are really knowledgeable and willing to understand your preferences to help you pick the right product. Not uncommon to have multiple staff members involved in offering an opinion on trail shoes or higher end gear. Product quality is, across the board, great. I’ve only ever had to return something once (no problems), but was well aware of their no hassle return policy. It’s about a 40 minute drive for me, so I don’t drop by as often as I’d like, but always worth a drop in. Parking can get a bit hectic in this lot at times with Shake Shak right nearby too, but not a big deal. Easy on/off I-84! If you’re not a member of the REI Co-op, you should be.”

“My son has been swinging Beaver Bat since he was 8 years old. Now 13 and would not swing anything else. We got a custom blue and red with engraving, the quality very good, and the price is awesome for a wood bat. All the bad reviews are people that know nothing about baseball and how wood bats work. THEY ARE WOOD they will break eventually. However with good care they will last for years. On top of that there customer service is good not sure what people want, use there # and email on the website and they will answer. Until you swing one you will never know what your missing.”
