This was our first time at this grooming salon and it was great! Our pup is old and had long overgrown nails so we just went in for a nail trim. I was impressed by a few things. The salon smelled neutral which made it a great entry. I loved how private it was. They have little waiting cubbies so whether you have a social butterfly or a pup a bit more reserved, they are all comfortable. I went to the back to help keep my girl calm and I really liked how each groomer has their own little room which I think helps keep the pups a bit more relaxed. We had Jaimie and she was SO sweet with our girl. She helped me understand what we need to do to help our girls feet and then she moved quickly, efficiently, calmly and was very encouraging with Lacey. And bonus, she got to take home a little toy at the end! 5/5 stars!!!

11490 Sheridan Boulevard, WestminsterMy 9 month old German Shepherd was experiencing pretty extreme discomfort in his right leg that had gotten worse on a Friday night. Our normal vet is closed on Saturdays, but I called several other vet clinics who were rude and happy to turn us away. From the first call to Arrowhead the staff was friendly and made arrangements for us to get an appointment the same day, and actually asked me what was wrong with my dog. Dr Griffin could not have been kinder and diagnosed my pup without needing to do x-rays or any other extreme measures. Everyone was kind and helpful, the clinic was clean, and they are reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend if you need a vet to get your sick or injured animal looked at!!

While every veterinary cardiologist in the Denver area was booked 4-6 weeks out, when I explained the dire situation, Choice Vet Specialists and Dr. Carroll Loyer managed to fit her in. We couldn’t be more impressed and thankful for the excellent care and compassion of both Dr Loyer and his entire staff. After 6 hours in their care, Zoe is so much better. Her treatment protocol is complex and Dr Loyer and his staff both explained everything until we understood and encouraged us to call anytime we have concerns or questions. This is veterinary care at its best!

Liberty Animal Hospital
5250 W 113th Ave, WestminsterThis animal hospital and staff is a 5 star all the way. I was told my dogs leg needed to be amputated. There was necrotic tissue and a broken leg. The surgeon save the leg and healed the tissue damage. ❤️
Today my other dog had her first visit here and again perfect care. The vet took her time to examine her throughly, explain and demonstrate how to give the treatment needed.
Liberty is amazing in so many ways. The staff is top notch. Also much more affordable. Thank you Liberty for all your care, wisdom and support through a rough time.

I was feeling pretty defeated when I brought Mac in for his training program. During the time he was there I got updates and videos showing his progress. When I went to pick him up I was nervous about how he would do with me but Michelle and Jon showed me how to handle him on walks and even in the car. After years of horrible car rides , barking at passing cars jumping from the front seat to the back etc. my dog actually fell asleep on the car ride home and I was shocked. Since he’s been home we’ve gone on lots of walks already and I no longer fear my dog when we are out on walks. He’s walks right beside me and listens and hasn’t tried lunging at people , dogs, cars etc. seriously a night and day difference and I could not be more impressed with the work they did with him. This whole process showed me that with good training your dog is always worth it. The time, the money, the effort all of it. I wish I would have done this so much sooner. Thank you guys so much for your hard work and patience with Mac!

I got the chicken and waffles, wish they had a hot sauce that was more Nashville style but it was good. Also not sure why it’s the only hot sauce you have. ? would have loved some cholula. Other than that everything was perfect! My boyfriend got the classic American breakfast and he cleared it haha. Will be back.

Atmosphere is fine, counter service and self serve soda machine. Nothing fancy. Wings were solid. The mango habanero wasn’t as spicy as I would like so I’ll try something hotter next time.
The service though, holy cow! A bunch of teenage/young adult boys working. The guy that greeted us was SO kind, polite, welcoming. I had to go back to order something else, the next kid could not have been older than 17, same politeness, and genuine kindness. Same thing with the guy that delivered our food.
I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 25 years and fantastic customer service is really rare these days. It is so refreshing to see young people providing quality customer service. 20% always for these guys, even though it’s counter service. Please give your staff an acknowledgment for being great representatives of your business!

Came in for a birthday party, had some food and beverages, and played games for 2 hours before and after the party.
The kids were entertained for a while, and the food was ok, as was the beer.
There are a few claw games, which are a straight up rip off. You pay 50 cents, $1 or $2 for a chance at some pretty crummy prizes, but one of the claws doesn't go down far enough to even grab a toy (which you dont know until after you've tried to grab something), and the others are packed so tightly that even when you do grab something, it definitely isn't coming out. Of course you have to try, and the kids try until they're broke because they don't know any better, but this is the most egregious setup I've seen for claw games.
Video games are over priced also, for $2 you get one play? Come on.
We won't be back.

Snooze is a hip little diner in the middle of what feels like any generic establishment. I got the Denver omlet and realized I ate the thing before taking a picture for this review, so that was clearly done right. My server was attentive and great to order from! 14618 Delaware St, WestminsterI've been here a few times for takeout. So far I have ordered wings the tuna road trip bowl and recently the shepherds pie TV dinner. Overall things are good. My biggest complaint is no matter when you order your food is never ready. I feel like they don't even make it until you actually get there. So often times I find myself with a group of people waiting for a pick up. But it's a big restaurant and I suppose they have a lot of table customers and I can understand why they have priority. As far as the TV dinner, it is a super fun concept. I felt like there should've been some more potatoes. The meat was a mixture of mostly ground beef with a little bit of pot roast meat. Not sure why they mixed the two. I do wish it was all pot roast meat. So for price point and food quality this is a solid bet.

Westminster Hills Open Area Dog Park
10499 Simms St, WestminsterSuch a gem for the local community. I heard the city wanted to shut down this park, but a group of locals saved it. This park is literally the only thing you have going on for you that separates this area from every other soulless suburb of Denver.
When we come to visit greater Denver area, I specifically choose to stay in the neighborhood because I know that we can take our dog here for a walk. I would much rather stay in Boulder because it’s a nicer city but this park makes all the difference, it’s amazing.
The city should be using it as a selling point to attract people who like to run with their dogs, walk with their dogs, people who want to live in Karen-free environment. This could be the beacon of Hope for everyone who wants to have freedom in their life.
Instead of looking for short term financial gain from building condos, look at the 300 year horizon and think of what Denver would look like when everything is a suburb, but this is still a park.
This could be the same attraction as the Central Park is an attraction for New York City. It’s a great thing you have going on, protect it.
Dog-friendliness: Grand open space where dogs can run off leash for hours.
