Pet Care
Louisville Veterinary Clinic
2000 Centennial Dr, LouisvilleWe've been going to Dr. Bender for years, he is the best vet ever! Calm, intelligent, involved and committed to caring for our animals. We left the area, but considered kidnapping Dr. Bender to take with us. (JK, Doc!) If you can get an appointment, your pets will be in the best hands!

Louisville Family Animal Hospital
332 McCaslin Blvd, LouisvilleThe whole office is full of kind, caring and honest people who you can tell have a lot of love for their clients and their animals. They're very welcomkng towards my golden retriever mix Wyatt and do their best to make him feel comfortable during his visits. With other vets, i sometimes feel like I'm being given an upsell, but LFAH is straightforward on what treatment my dog might need and doesn't try to pressure you into certain tests or procedures or make you feel guilty about your pet's health issues. On at least one instance, they saved us thousands of dollars, and my dog a few days of discomfort, by cancelling a scheduled procedure when they found it was no longer needed. That kind of honesty and compassion is rare these days, and we feel very fortunate to have it at our local vet!

Pet Sitting & Training
The Divine Canine
2103 CO-42, LouisvilleI recommend McKenna for grooming! Took my shedding border collie, who has terrible anxiety, to her for a deshed and bath/brush. He was in and out within a few hours, booked less than a week out, and she charged me $45. My pup is soft and smells so good and she got so much hair off of him! She is great!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Crystal Springs Brewing Co. - Downtown Taproom
604 Main St, LouisvilleSuch a cool little brewery; great service too. Plenty of outdoor space and they also have little rooms inside. It was a nice spot to come and crank out some work. Definitely get the blood orange.

Sweet Cow
637 Front St, LouisvilleGood ice cream. Great service. The original flavors and some fun original ones too. Also, so many types of cones. I'd never had a pretzel cone before. It was good. The salty cone and the sweet ice cream made a great combination.

Bob's Diner
820 Main St, LouisvilleI love this little spot! With its homey environment and friendly staff, combined with items that are truly affordable, Bob's has become my favorite breakfast place. It becomes extra special during the summer, once the patio seating is available and you can take in the quiet beauty of Louisville over a coffee and giant pancake.Highly recommend.

Crystal Springs Brewing Co. - The Brewers' Lounge at the Production Facility
657 S Taylor Ave E, LouisvilleBefore they opened their downtown taproom, this was the only place to get Crystal Springs beer. Even now, here is where the brewing magic happens. The original location here is much less popular and you're more likely to get a seat. Great beer, good people.

Rocky Mountain Tap & Garden
1071 Courtesy Rd, LouisvilleWent to RMTG with two other families and their kids. We all had a great time and liked the food, alcohol and atmosphere. We started with appetizers at about 3:30 PM, then later had dinner. We were there for four to five hours and all said that we would come back. Prices were good especially when considering total time and an outdoor garden with an open area for kids to play.

Organic Sandwich Co.
459 McCaslin Blvd, LouisvilleSo much to love about this place! Love that the ingredients are organic and free from seed oils for their sandwiches, salads and soups. Their gluten free bread is delicious and I appreciate that the other breads have sourdough starter. I am one that pays attention to ingredients in my food and the team has always been easily willing and helpful with giving that information when I have asked. So glad that this place is around in order to get a quick bite while working. I love that I can trust the quality and the staff is always so sweet. They provide such a great positive and energetic environment.
