“After moving to Colorado from California, I chose this vet from some good reviews online, even though it wasn't the closest one to my apartment. I always felt like my dog Bacon was in good hands with his checkups, dental cleaning, blood work, shots, and occasional treatment for illness. My previous vet in California felt a little sales-y and got me to sign up for more than needed, while Sunshine was relaxed and never pushed me into anything unnecessary for my pup. My CA vet always felt behind schedule and rushed as well, while at Sunshine, I feel like I can calmly go over EVERY question I have, which is a lot, without feeling like I need to speed things up so they can get to the next appointment. You can request appointments through their site and get a quick response to schedule a visit. They also send reminders which is nice. Plus you can sync up with Pet Desk for records. Pleasant, sunny staff, from the front desk to the assistants to the vets. Prices were a little more affordable than California, too. They sell prescription food for about the same price as Petsmart, which is often out of stock. Only frustrating thing was when I brought my dog in for a routine exam and brought up a couple stool concerns, they were kind of brushed off as nothing to worry about, then he got super sick a couple weeks later and I had to bring him back for another visit and exam, which felt like it cost me extra for something that they could have gotten out in front of. Other than that hiccup, it's always a nice visit at Sunshine (even though my dog hates walking through those doors every time).”

“I highly recommend Dr. Nathan Simon! He is the best vet I have ever taken my animals to. He takes the time to try and figure out the root cause of my dogs ailments instead of just treating the symptoms. He takes the time to actively listen and answer all of your questions and concerns. He even gave me information on pet insurance plans that would help cover the cost of my dogs allergy medicine. He also took the time to go over the risks of certain ingredients in my dogs grain free dog food.

I fully trust Dr. Simon with my dogs! I also really like the vet tech I am not sure what her name is but I think she is Asian and is super sweet and kind!”

“I’ve taken our Labradoodle three times and found this method of teeth cleaning to be an efficient and inexpensive alternative to Vet cleaning that requires expensive blood tests and anesthesia! My experiences with K-9 have all been great!”

“Highly recommend! All the staff were so sweet and kind, and the vet I saw seemed very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I understood all my options for my dog's CCL tear. She even told me the pain meds I needed for my dog would be cheaper at Costco ($18 vs $60) - so nice of her to save me money like that. My normal vet office couldn't see my dogs for 4 days (which included a weekend), so I was happy when AOR had an appointment available the next day. We will be switching vet offices permanently based on our experience here and proximity to our house! The waiting room even has free chips, soda and a cute little kids coloring area, which is always a nice little perk.”

“Wonderful clinic! Dr. Brown and all other staff are informative, friendly, patient and kind! Recently took my two year old Great Dane here to get gastroplexy and a spay and she recovered nicely! Also took my 16 year old cat to get help with weight loss and they provided excellent care. Highly recommend!!!”

“I just came home from this veterinary office after finally deciding to switch from our old place, and really wish we had been coming here the whole time. Everyone who works here is so kind and seems to genuinely enjoy what they do, and Dr Dodge was wonderful. He was so attentive and interested in my dog and you can tell he really cares, he even got on the floor himself to do vaccines! Finding a vet can be so difficult because you want someone who actually knows your animal - we were only here one time so far but I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vet in Boulder.”

“Dr. Dan Mones is the kindest, most compassionate vet. After we lost our sweet dog last weekend, Dr. Mones called my husband and me separately to answer all of our questions and talk us through what had happened. He never rushed us to get off the phone or dismissed our concerns. His staff caught the tumor 1 1/2 years ago when it was very small, allowing our boy to live a full life until recently. We are forever grateful.”

“Today my old dog had to be put to sleep. Dr. Ingram and the staff were so compassionate and professional. It was a hard decision but it was necessary. It was very peaceful for her. “I had been wanting to come and leave a review for a while but the whole situation surrounding putting down our beloved Yorkie and old baby of 17 years has been weighing heavily on me. Today I received a very nice card in the mail from the Blue Pearl team expressing their condolences for our loss. I thought that was really sweet and the experience in office was wonderful (because they are good at what they do, obviously the situation itself sucked). Everyone that I interacted with was very kind and well suited for the difficult job that they perform; a very thoughtful, patient and knowledgeable group of people. The company that they work with that does the actual cremations also did a very nice job. Attached are pictures of our dog's ashes when we got them back.”

“I absolutely love Arvada Flats!! We are very picky about where we take our two cats for care, and this is the third vet we've tried-- apparently, the third time is the charm! The staff is knowledgeable and caring, and the pricing is reasonable. Going to the vet is never a fun activity for our cats, but the staff is so gentle and patient with them that it helps ease their anxiety. I wouldn't trust any other vet with our fur babies!!”

“They had me bring my boy Zeus in for a "Happy Visit" before his actual appointment. I had Zeus neutered last year at another vet and they literally traumatized him. He loved car rides but since he was traumatized he still wants to go but has so much anxiety he makes himself sick. So the happy visit was to get his weight and for him to see it's a safe place and medication to help relax him for his actual appointment. The staff here is simply outstanding!! They are kind, understanding and caring and truly want Zeus to have the best experience possible there. Today Zeus goes in for his shots and year exam and I know he will be in the best hands. Did I mention Zeus is a Cane Corso, aka an Italian Mastiff and his size didn't faze them at all, they just cared about him being ok being there. So far I'm a huge fan!! Thank you for being so amazing!! UPDATE: I am so happy with how Zeus's appointment went. Zeus was muzzled as he has some fear aggression from the place I took him to be neutered, Clay (the vet tech) was not a bit afraid of Zeus and did everything so perfectly, in fact they took pictures of themselves cuddling with Zeus which made me cry tears of relief. The vet Dr Vespa was able to draw his blood, look at his teeth, check his ears and eyes and give him a clean bill of health. My boy is my world and seeing how special they treated him and genuinely care about making his visit a positive one for him, meant more than words can express. I highly recommend Boulder Veterinary Hospital, they truly love our fur babies and it shows from check in to check out and everything in between. Thank you so much❣️”

“I took my cat here for a checkup and had a really great experience! The vet took her to the back for an exam/rabies shot, which is unusual, but I imagine this is because the vet doesn't want your pet to associate you with discomfort. It was also calming for me since I didn't have to see my baby in pain. The office itself was clean with no foul pet odor, which provided a great impression. We were also able to wait in the car until it was my cat's turn, which minimized her anxiety and discomfort. The vet came in after the exam to explain her health and to answer questions. The service was extremely professional, and I felt well taken care of! Staff called me in the next day to make sure that there were no additional questions or concerns. Overall, great experience and I think this is my new vet!”

“Would recommend this vet over and over again. My dog got an extremely deep cut and needed emergency stitches and staples. Mandalay got us right in and the doctor graciously cut her lunch short to get him in ASAP. He is now home and on the mend. I can’t thank Mandalay enough their entire staff is amazing.”

“CRCG takes excellent care of my dog and has led her through two successful recoveries after surgery. There are some variances in the quality of care between different staff members and front of house staff. Some are very friendly, and others are a bit antisocial and unfriendly, but most of them are really nice and that's typically how every business is. I have sent several people CRCG's way because I have personally seen their outcomes. I do wish they didn't allow aggressive animals, though. There seems to always be an aggressive german shepherd or pit mix when we go in. However, the staff ensure the dogs are kept separate and try to use towels to block the vision of the aggressive animal. All animals deserve care and treatment, but if I'm spending thousands of dollars, I would prefer to take my dog to a place that doesn't allow aggression at all. That's the only feedback I would have. There are a number of talented, caring people here. I don't know what I would do without CRCG - they have created a quality of life my dog would not otherwise have had access to, and for that I am extremely grateful. The owner certainly needs to ask questions and listen to the therapists. Dog rehabilitation requires at home care too, and the owners need to be involved as much as possible.”
