“They had me bring my boy Zeus in for a "Happy Visit" before his actual appointment. I had Zeus neutered last year at another vet and they literally traumatized him. He loved car rides but since he was traumatized he still wants to go but has so much anxiety he makes himself sick. So the happy visit was to get his weight and for him to see it's a safe place and medication to help relax him for his actual appointment. The staff here is simply outstanding!! They are kind, understanding and caring and truly want Zeus to have the best experience possible there. Today Zeus goes in for his shots and year exam and I know he will be in the best hands. Did I mention Zeus is a Cane Corso, aka an Italian Mastiff and his size didn't faze them at all, they just cared about him being ok being there. So far I'm a huge fan!! Thank you for being so amazing!! UPDATE: I am so happy with how Zeus's appointment went. Zeus was muzzled as he has some fear aggression from the place I took him to be neutered, Clay (the vet tech) was not a bit afraid of Zeus and did everything so perfectly, in fact they took pictures of themselves cuddling with Zeus which made me cry tears of relief. The vet Dr Vespa was able to draw his blood, look at his teeth, check his ears and eyes and give him a clean bill of health. My boy is my world and seeing how special they treated him and genuinely care about making his visit a positive one for him, meant more than words can express. I highly recommend Boulder Veterinary Hospital, they truly love our fur babies and it shows from check in to check out and everything in between. Thank you so much❣️”

She ended up needing emergency surgery ASAP, and they really made us feel at ease and worked with us and our limited budget to get into surgery and on the mend quickly. “Excellent vet - it is difficult to convey how much this practice has done for my pets over the years. My dog, Dakota, spent five days here after she was poisoned by a counterfeit joint supplement from Amazon. They saved her life and she was able to live for another 3+ years. Dr. Nolan continued to see her for follow up visits to treat her kidney and liver damage from the supplement. He and the staff are knowledgeable, responsive, and compassionate. My dog, Toby, also spent 2 or 3 nights with Alpenglow when he began having seizures (which we later found were caused by a brain tumor). I trust Dr. Nolan and the staff at Alpenglow with my pets' lives without reservation.”

“I love Dr. Vale she is super friendly and super nice I have known her for a very long time she help me get lovey and we got her trained for my seizures Dr. Vale is amazing person and I love gunbarrel veterinary and hospital people are so friendly and good customer service I would never recommend people going to Boulder Emergency pet clinic if your pet is having emergency I would go somewhere else because they don't do go customer service but gunbarrel veterinary and hospital do the best care ever I've known I love the people at gunbarrel veterinary and hospital I've known them for several years because I work at Kingsoopers gunbarrel and they're all my friends I am so sad I lost snicker doodle Dandy I really miss him I'm heartbroken because he was my seizure dog but at least I have lovey I want to thank Dr Vail for being such a nice person and being my friend when I needed her right after snicker died I don't know what I would've done without Dr. Val I love you Dr. Val you're amazing person I've ever known thank you so much for being there for me now”

“For the Petcos of this country, this one has always stood out as an exception to the poor care. Their fish are always in great health, and the reptiles and birds are always perfectly clean, fresh food/water, and visibly content. The best they can do with the size of enclosures provided to them. I also appreciate their live bugs. They carry super worms, waxworms and mealies in refrigerated conditions. I've found them to be cleaner, fewer die, and don't smell like some of the local reptile stores. I'm not surprised by the one star review, because these employees ALWAYS ensure their animals are properly cared for, and not all products sold for fish/birds/reptiles are actually safe. An unfiltered bowl does not work for most fish, and if you can't afford the $30 for a tank with a filter- why would they assume you would take the time to do any cleaning or care for the tank. This store doesn't deserve a one star-- YOU do.”

“So far, we have only visited this veterinary hospital because it hosts a dental specialist for animals. In that regard, we have had very positive experiences. (Our dear canine family member was spared some hasty and ill advised tooth extractions by our usual vet.) Otherwise, this practice seems very quiet; it always seems as though we are the only ones there. So that seems a little odd. And for us, the location at Manhattan Circle is rather inconvenient requiring 20-30 minute cross-town drives, always at rush hours, of course.”
