Dennis Weaver Memorial Park is a peaceful and beautiful place designed as a memorial to a good man. It features sculptures, stacking stones, and a giant eagle sculpture that honor the sacred place of the Ute tribe. Visitors can enjoy scenic river walks, wetlands, and views of Colorado Mesa, with some wildlife to see. The park offers a quiet space for walking, meditation, and reflection, with gravel, dirt, and sidewalk paths suitable for strollers and bikes. There are picnic areas, porta potties, and dog-friendly areas where dogs on leads are welcome. The park's spiritual design, poetry, and art make it a special place to drive through or spend time in.
I stop here often to make salat. Its a peaceful place to pray.

Very special memorial to see. The tribute to Dennis Weaver is tremendous. The 20 foot bronze eagle was amazing.

This was a nice little park to take a short walk through. Sculptures and stacking stones make it special. A great memorial for a good man who appreciated his world.
