I was on my way to Canada and stopped to camp below Peblo. I noticed my check engine light was on. The next morning I drove to Big Jim's, and he found the problem and I was on my way in just over an hour. I would recommend this place to anyone needing quick repairs at a reasonable price.

Great staff from Brett to James and secretary the whole team was excellent. They took care of my ambulance 2003 ford turbo diesel. Found the problem but unfortunately needed a new engine. I was not charge for the diagnostic and the trouble shooting.
Honest people, really knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend them, trustworthy for sure ?.

This is an honest local business that I recommend for all private and fleet repairs. My trashy little VGT turbo went out on my work truck. Big Jim’s recommended and installed a new Smedding turbo kit with all new mapping and tuning for my Ram. The truck went from a chug-chug to an absolute unit. I gained tons of horsepower and I’m getting 5mpg gains with all of the reliability intact. 10/10 recommend. Thanks Brett

Best diesel shop in town by far. Brett is a caring person and amazing mechanic. From advising me on my Ford while on road to making repairs in shop. Honest and fair. Called with updates and did work when another shop could not figure out was going on. Fixed my steering wheel, fixed my exhaust and my leaf springs. My truck feels new again, its a 1999. I feel safe and can now travel freely without worry. Truck was secured at night. Brett I cannot thank you enough for your work and customer service. You explained in detail and showed me everything. Blown away. So grateful to have my truck repaired by Big Jims Diesel and Automotive! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Big Jim's Diesel Shop is Awesome and the integrity running threw Brett, he has stepped up and became a leader threwout the shop taking onmultiple big projects at a time and I had my truck towed there first day and he had time out of his very busy schedule to check it out and found out what the problem was quickly. He told me with full integrity what the issue was and how much they are charging and got the job done that day so I can get back on the road.

I took my truck to Big Jim’s for a simple transmission replacement. I was originally quoted a 2-3 week wait time. After 6 weeks my truck was finally finished. Payment for the transmission was demanded upfront, when asked about the $2,000 core charge upon completion there was not a straight answer. I was not refunded my money. Desperate to have my vehicle back I payed them their labor and left. I will not be taking anything back to their shop again.In Response to your reply. I never said that you didn’t give me exactly what I asked for. And as far as a core charge goes, you charged me a core charge when you contacted ATS for the build. When going online the price of the same transmission is magically $2,000 less than what I paid. I should have been refunded the 2,000 when you shipped my old transmission back to ATS. You lied to me and you pocketed my money.
