1651 Skyway Dr, LongmontLOVE this place! I got recommended to this place by sister about ten years ago; every time I have to leave town I leave my babies with these professionals. I haven't lived in Longmont for years, but I'll drive an hour each way just to leave the pups here when I go out of town. Scooby and Gus always have a great time.

Paw Spa
700 Ken Pratt Blvd # 219, LongmontI met the owner of the PawSpa back at the turn of the millennia. She was a client at the Spa I worked at. Everyone there took there pets the PawSpa. So when I was looking for a new place to go, I booked here. My dog had matting and needed his nails done. He came back clean shaven, no unevenness, nails were cut and filed, ears clean. My son asked who's the dog? I told him, it's your dog. He even asked if he could pet him. I've read some of the older reviews on here, and my wasn't timid or ready to burst out the door when I got there to pick him up. When reading older reviews we need to keep in mind that employees come and go. Some stay, but you can't always base your decision on older reviews. We will be going back again.

Valley Veterinary Hospital
1191 Ken Pratt Blvd, LongmontI'm writing this review a little late but I thought it was more relevant in my case to speak of long term results. Grace, my very athletic Foxhound mix blew out her knee while playing. She was still young enough to where surgery was an option. Dr Peila explained the procedure and follow up for a plate in her knee. Not an inexpensive surgery- but they helped us to secure some financing options for it. I'm so glad we had this done. My dog has recovered 100%. It has been two years now and she has a quality of life she would have without Dr. Peila's help. GOOD JOB TEAM!

Front desk staff always friendly, vet techs showed so much affection for our cats, and Dr. Dedolph was really knowledgeable and kind. She really took her time with us and was very patient with our questions, and did a fantastic job when one of our cats needed a teeth cleaning. This place is super cat friendly, they always escorted me into a private room promptly so I could let the cats out to explore. Thank you FPH, we'll miss you!

Peila, Jeff DVM
1191 Ken Pratt Blvd &, CO-119, LongmontOur 10 month old pup, Juniper woke up one morning a couple weeks ago vomiting and in obvious pain. Our family just moved to the Longmont area a week before and had no local vet set up. I called Valley Veterinary a little after 7am and explained her symptoms and they were MORE than accommodating to us. We brought her in and the Doc treated us like we had a standing appointment and took the time to talk to us and properly diagnose our pup. The staff was wonderful and so attentive to us, even though they had a very full day ahead of them. It is so appreciated in this day and age to be treated with compassion and empathy. They definitely have our business. Highly recommend.

High Drive Dog Company
101 Pratt St unit e, LongmontLong read warning:Is Carly for everyone? No. Should that detract from the extremely valuable, comprehensive, unfiltered, direct and real information she provided? Not at all.Yes Carly is polarizing. Her own onboarding material makes that abundantly clear (if you didn’t read it). Carly LOVES dogs, she makes above and beyond efforts to be helpful and direct. If she tells you are doing something wrong, there’s a good reason. It may not be obvious at first but towards the end of foundations you’ll see why.Yes they are lecture heavy, but that’s on purpose, the issue isn’t the dogs, it’s the owners. We saw that first hand when we attended the classes, didn’t do the work and then had several fear incidents with our pup that led to biting. We came back, did the work, did the practice like we were supposed to and our dog is better than she’s ever been. She’s more confident, listens so well and can trust her to stay put while we go get food 30 feet away and will wait for us.All the “skills” that the dog needs can be taught in a couple of hours. The problem is us humans learning how dogs think and changing how we do this. That’s why the foundation is “lesson” heavy, anyone can teach dog tricks. This is not that, you are adopting a completely different mindset to dog behavior that will outlast any “trick” you can teach your dog.We will go anywhere Carly does to teach our future dogs period. We are eternally grateful for her and her teams dedication, do not pass up the opportunity, this is worthwhile like any program that’s there to help you, not make you feel better because you “tried”.

Urban Field Pizza and Market
150 Main St Suite 202, LongmontWe've been wanting to try this place since we heard they made 7th place pizza in the world... and see all of the viral giant mozzarella sticks on Instagram. It's over an hour drive from us so we met up with friends and made plans to spend the day up in Longmont to check them out. Literally the day before we found out the mozzarella stick is "seasonal", so be aware if this is a major selling point for you. We don't make it up this way very often so we were pretty devastated. Service was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered the Funghi round and a kids cheese square with a side of meatballs. The Funghi was phenomenal, we really enjoyed the variety of mushrooms (plus we're fans of Hazel Dell). I personally didn't try the cheese but it looked delicious. The meatballs were flavorful, maybe a touch salty, but we really enjoyed them. I'm not sure if it lives up to 7th in the world, but we really enjoyed it. But maybe it was the lack of their mozzarella stick

Grossen Bart Brewery
1025 Delaware Ave A, LongmontGrossen Bart Brewery is a nice little spot to stop at for some nice refreshing beers. They had 15 options on tap for my stop including: citra pale ale, pilsner, an amber, kolsch, American IPA, grapefruit IPA, orange lager, Dill mexican lager, malt liquor, a hoppy mexican lager, mexican golden lager, mexican dark lager, amber Czech lager, a barleywine, and a Gose sour. Not a ton of big beers but very refreshing. This little brewery is not fancy but it is comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out.
