“Just started staying here, and everyone inside the office has been phenomenal towards me. Other than this campground being cold because we are in winter ?, they have worked with me and been patient to no end to make sure I'm okay in the park. Its highly affordable, full hookups 30 or 50, and great customer service. It's no wonder they have had residents there for years. If you're just traveling, or you're looking for a semi permanent spot, look no further than Rocky Top.Nearby activities: Very close to historic Manitou SpringsSafety: No problems yet, everyone's looking out for eachother!”

“I came for tea and it was a phenomenal experience. Everything was absolutely perfect. All of the little deserts with the tea were so tasty. There were a lot of tea varieties to choose from too. Lot’s of picturesque areas for photography in and around the castle. I plan to come back when I’m in the area again.”

“The Cliff House is a very special oasis of historic charm, low keyed elegance, tranquility, peacefulness and joy! This is our 2nd FABULOUS 3 night stay in the outstanding Cliff House and once again, we hated to leave. The Cliff House has a superb reputation due to its gorgeous historic building, beautiful rooms and terrific service by highly dedicated wonderful employees like Molly, Abby, James, Connor, Deonte, Adam, Aaron, Matt, Shawn, Kaleb, Shawn and Assistant Managers Sarah and Lisa! All of these employees were a joy to meet and they loved helping us. ??”

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It's very centrally located to walk through town to shop and eat. It's an older building so our bathroom, although it was private, was separate from our bedroom so in night time we had to walk down the hall to get to the bathroom. The staff was very nice.”

“Almost without exception the best places to stay in Colorado Springs are small, independently owned motels. The Red Wing Motel is a perfect example.Arriving at the property, the owner herself came out to greet me, walked me to my room and went through all the details to make sure the room met my needs and standards. That's customer service. The room was simple with a fun, quirky decor and one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever seen.Parking is easy and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. A free city shuttle stops about a block away and takes you up the hill to the heart of Manitou Springs or to connect with the bus to the Cog Railway. The nightly rate for the Red Wing Motel was significantly less than most of the corporate chain hotels and a bit lower than several nearby properties. Value for money was exceptional.”

“I found this gem unexpectedly while in a pickle. I had a previous booking ELSEWHERE that didn’t go right and I needed somewhere else to stay within THAT minute. To my surprise, Buffalo lodge was just around the corner and first thing I noticed was all the 5/5 reviews! I booked online and although it was very last minute they were able to accommodate my family and I right away! When I went into the lobby to check in, I was treated with EXCEPTIONAL customer service! She was so kind and welcoming and so very helpful with all and any needs. Once we walked into our room we were shocked at how new, modern, and clean the rooms were and very spacious! Everything we needed was there and it was so cozy and cute! In the morning we went into the lobby and enjoyed a complimentary breakfast and coffee while we sat by the fireplace and played a board game which they also provide! They also have bikes you can borrow and ride around! In the lobby aside the complimentary breakfast and drinks, you can purchase snacks, adult drinks, and other specialty coffee drinks. Also great location to all the popular attractions CO Springs has to offer! I can seriously keep going about how amazing our stay was. We fell in love with everything about it. We seriously didn’t want to leave! And We cannot wait to come back!”

“My husband and I have returned here every year for the past 7 years. We love that the cabins are off the main road in a relatively private area right by the creek. These cabins are old and rustic so if you want modern updated appliances and furniture this is NOT for you. If you want a cozy cabin experience close to all the great amenities Manitu has to offer, book your room now”

“The guy working the night we checked in was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Every amenity we could expect was provided and more, such as a refrigerator, microwave, and even a couch and coffee table in our King room. The cool white lighting used in the rooms is too harsh, feeling more like an office. For restful areas, warm lighting should be used. I'm not sure if we ended up next to a particularly noisy neighbor or if the walls are thin, but we ended up hearing our neighbor's TV the entire time.Aside from the noise it was a fairly good stay, I'd just recommend that they make the aforementioned change with the lighting.”

“It's what you'd expect. Location is undeniably convenient and near garden of the gods. They rent long term and not short term. The renovated units are nice and a good value compared to other rentals around there.”

“The facility was very clean from rooms to the lobby. Every staff member was extremely helpful (besides the guy that served breakfast) he didn't seem too pleased with having to do his job. The breakfast was also pretty lame. With only one waffle maker there was a line to use it.”

“Outside of the grumpy maintenance guy ,who literally fixed nothing(door was broken),its a great place to stay. The rooms are updated and clean. The wifi was strong enough to work all day and there was a kid who was gaming all week in the lobby so the internent must be solid. You may have to sign in to the wifi every few hours which is a little bit of a pain.Breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast with a waffle iron. The front desk staff made check in and out a breeze. Everything you would need is in walking distance so the location is great. You're about 20 minutes away from Colorado Springs if you want more to do,but I prefer the quiet Woodland Park area. Tons of hikingAlso to turn the shower on,pull down on the downspout where the water comes out in the tub. We had to call the front desk to figure this out. They really need to post a sign. Also in order to get the door to close we had to slam it like crazy several times. I knew it woke people up every morning, but the wonderful maintenance guy said its a metal door and he had no idea what we had a problem with. No hotel door should have to close like that and he and everyone one on our floor knows this. He then went into the room next door gripping about another issue in their room that he clearly didn't want to be bothered with.”
