533 Main St, Grand Junction“I am voracious reader so bookstores are my lifeblood and Out west is the main artery to my heart. Despite being a tiny little store Marya has separate sections for different genres that aren’t so overwhelming I get lost. There are separate sections for adult puzzles and kids puzzles, activity books, cookbooks and of course, my personal favorite, naughty greeting cards. All of the staff are so friendly and have yet to tell me they need some space as I am in the store at least 3 times a week. If fact I’m headed there now.”
“I called ahead to ask if they had a book I was seeking. Not only did they have the book, but they held the book while I drove to the shop.I only spent a few minutes on the shop, but I saw a large amount of books stored in a clean and well-organized manner.I'm definitely going back and I'm going to bring a book or several books with me to trade. You receive 50% off of the book price if you trade!”
11:30AM - 7PM
1938 N 1st St, Grand Junction“Exceptionally knowledgeable staff and an amazingly wide selection of comics. Amazing signed posters and art (not for sale) and some pretty cool stickers and other collectables. Definitely worth the time.”
“Very friendly and quite a good selection of books and bibles! Check it out. There was a flag that says bookstore, but if it's not there It's just inside the worship center entrance.”
7:30AM - 5:30PM
University Center, 1455 N 12th St, Grand Junction“This is an old-school comic book store, where you spend time looking for what you want. Older issues are packed in the bins and hard to get to, but the proprietor, Steve, a jovial gentleman, can help you find things, just ask.”
“I love this little bookstore. I try to stop in every few months, but the stock changes much faster than that. I always get great recommendations from the staff, and the owner, Margie, couldn't be kinder.”
“This was a smaller Barnes and noble. They didn’t have as big a selection and I wasn’t able to find a journal I liked.
I wasn’t overly impressed but I suppose smaller towns have smaller stores.
It was clean though and the same atmosphere.”
