“Living in the mountain community I have had the pleasure of participating in mountain shopping. Safeway Idaho springs and Evergreen Colorado is a little more expensive but accommodates my needs.”
“The ladies who work in the bakery are very good bakers! The men who organize and look over the fresh produce section do a good job! The fresh produce is excellent. The butchers in the meat department do a good job and are helpful. The prepared food and sushi are good. They have vegetarian food. Nearly all of the check-out people are friendly and nice. They hire people with disabilities, which I highly recommend. The store is very clean with nice, new flooring. The discounts for gas are very helpful. I shop at the Evergreen, Colorado Safeway regularly. The only problems I see are: 1) sometimes the youth moving the shopping carts are rude and don't always clean them, and 2) each week there are more and more sub-standard Safeway-owned products, with eventually seeming to do away with better brands of the same products.”

“Just wanted to give a thumbs up to a staff member at the Evergreen King Soopers. Craig was very helpful - I was looking for a mask and couldn't find one so he took time to help me find a mask (which wasn't an easy task). He was professional, courteous and friendly and really saved the day for me. Thanks, Craig!”
“My favorite Walmart! Very clean and it’s even aesthetically pleasing on the outside, very Colorado. Anyways, they always have what you need and help you find everything
The pharmacy staff are all super friendly and helpful. One time my insurance refused to cover any of my prescription so I started crying and the pharmacist was just so understanding and kind that it really helped me (my insurance eventually covered a bigger portion)”

“The staff are helpful and kind, even though they are usually super busy. If I am going to stay and wait for a prescription it usually only takes 15-30 minutes at the most, even at peak times.”
“For a walmart, it was good. I normally dont shop at walmart, but found myself away on a girl scout trip and some of the girls forgot some stuff. So off to walmart we went.The store was clean. The employees i interacted with were friendly. We were able to find everything that we needed while there. The store was laid out in a user friendly manner and was also labeled.The parking lot was big and the store was easy to find.Would come back again if I found myself in need and was in the area.”

“Love going to shop here when I need really fresh produce or something unusual like leeks or beets. Prices are a bit higher than the regular supermarket but worth it when you need higher quality.”
