Cakes and cookies should have up to 50% butter to shortening. Could call it the Butter Bakery. Need more meat sales. Family dinner specials every week is the new thing: End of a center bin meat department, Tuesday taco night: all on sale only $20 when purchased together: 2lbs lean ground beef, iceberg head organic option. Taco Seasoning, tortillas or shells, tomato, cheese and salsa. Instructions would be nice. (Serve-with suggestions like refried beans, rice, and guacamole, and sour cream. One to two per week.”

Though the customer service isn't the best, at least from the manger at the time I was there. I put my personal bag down filled with items and he looked at me like I had asked him to murder someone. All I expected was to check me out.”

“Never any long lines and usually one of the cheaper gas stations in town. You can use your King Soopers card to get 3 cents off. If you buy a lot of groceries from Kings you will earn points to get anywhere from 5 cents to a dollar off per gallon. The best I have seen is 50 cents off per gallon but everything helps.”

“I've been coming here for 4 years. The staff is AMAZING. They must be doing a great job in management, because many of the same people have worked here for years. The guy behind the meat counter is so nice, always recognizes me and asks how my family is doing. Christian the tall friendly young guy always says hello and is great. Same with many of the ladies at the checkout area, and one young guy in high school who's been there for years is the absolute nicest. Honestly just 10/10 I have a lot of good things to say about you all. Thank you for working the holidays, and getting to know your customers so nicely! My family loves it and we appreciate you all.”

“Months ago I made a mistake and wrote a review for the wrong Walmart store. I meant it for the C-470 and Coal Mine location. Once again I would like to praise the customer service of an individual named Rex. This guy works in the media/computer/entertainment section at this location and he is AWESOME! Very friendly and helpful. Too bad more employees aren't like this superstar! I had to get a HP printer cartridge and Rex came thru as usual with a professional and caring manner. Can't put him on a higher pedestal. Give him a hefty raise! Thanks, Rex!”

“This pharmacy is the best kept secret. They answer the phone every single time I call. Few pharmacies do that anymore. My son gets 2 prescriptions for controlled substances that can be difficult to obtain, but that’s a supply issue, not a Roxborough Safeway issue. They have helped us find generic substitutes and are great about answering all our questions. A 15 minute wait in line is nothing compared to pharmacies in other places, and it is rarely that long of a wait when I go. Today I got a prescription that they could not fill due to a back ordered drug and they found the drug at another pharmacy, called me twice to communicate with me that they couldn’t get the drug themselves but found it somewhere else for me, transferred my prescription (with my permission) and the next pharmacy also called me and confirmed they were prepping my order. That is gold star service. Have patience with these folks because they are working hard and they will serve you well. It was a no brained for my family to transfer all our prescriptions here a year ago or so and I have been so happy with them.”

“This is an older and smaller King-Soops than the 3 others in a 3 mile area, but it is my favorite one. There is ample parking - I like being able to park easily. All parking spots are pretty close to the store entrance. The shopping center it is in has a Starbucks, an awesome Donut shop, liquor store, gym, and a number of restaurants. I miss the Radio Shack that was once there. Although the King-Soops stores have a common general layout, this store is easy to traverse side to side and up and down. The product offering is good for our everyday needs and even fine for throwing together most special events. They are very responsive to getting new products on their shelves. The pharmacy is well run and the staff has a good relationship with their patrons. Jay, Adrienne and others know their patrons and treat them with respect, care and like their own family members. This is very comforting to see. The other store staff (Dee, Jenny, Elaine and others) are extremely friendly and very helpful, which is important to me as a shopper, even though we've patronized the store very regularly since 1992 and don't need much assistance. It's also encouraging to see young employees start their work careers there and see them develop and grow as wonderful, productive young men and women. The one downside to the store is that it's not open 24/7 anymore. We appreciated that when our children were young. Having it open all the time gave us as young parents ourselves, a sense of ease that should we have an emergency, they were there and open to help. Regardless, it is truly a wonderful neighborhood marketplace for us and we feel very fortunate and pampered to have them around!”
