“The people are total experts at their craft. They say what they will do and they do what the promise. They repaired a gas line in my 40' RV to get propane running to the stove. They are definitely an "old school" operation that does business the way business should be done. I highly recommend them!!!”

Special shout out to the hitch pro (who's name I didn't catch, but he's a tall younger guy with glasses) he went above and beyond in helping me make sure everything was good with installation. “Full service and rental location, not a gas station, liquor store or someone's backyard! Had my wiring harness for trailer lights replaced. He was rather helpful in explaining my options so I could make the right choice for what I needed. Would gladly use them again.”

“They have great customer service, and they have whatever I need to rent when I need it. All the employees are so nice, and their trucks and trailers are always. Clean.Don't listen to the people who say "Don't Rent from U-Haul on Colfax". Because the trucks are clean, and run great. They are also very understanding of your needs! They also sell propane tanks, and fill propane tanks as well.When you rent a Truck, Make sure you do a quick walk around for any possible damages. “I called the Uhaul customer service line because I do not have time to call each location to see which location has the pieces to install a hitch and also be able to do the correct wiring harness. The customer service lady gave me the Uhaul on the opposite side of town that had the correct pieces and could install the same day. Well I get over there to find out that they do have the correct pieces but the installation guy is out sick and the owner Dala does not know when he will return to reschedule. So I bought the pieces. At least I had the pieces and she nicely loaded them up for to me to take home. Ultimately, I feel like I should of been angry because services were not rendered. However the way the owner treated me and explained the situation truthfully being Memorial Day weekend to wreck my plans because her guy wanted an extra day off is really unacceptable. But Dala was exceptional giving me other options that another location can put it on for me. I'm going to go ahead and give Dala and this location 5 stars because at no time did she ever give me attitude or a problem. She had apologized and it is was it is. Thank goodness I did find another location to put it on but at least this location provided half of the project. I would still go back there to rent a truck or buy any type of moving necessities.”

“Our truck rental advertised as $19.95 a day ended up costing us $51.00 for 6 hours. And we had to pay for our own gas making the total out-of-pocket $61. We drove 17 miles total+. These costs were disclosed but advertising is deceptive. My friend had difficulty understanding. It's a lot to take in.”

“Store staff were very helpful & accommodating with our last minute rental, but the auto transport we rented was not sprayed off from the prior rental.No reflection on this location, but the $35 hand winch we purchased was terrible. The cable barely extended 5ft making very difficult to winch our vehicle on to the auto transport.”

“I have used this location many times and have never had a problem. My recent experience has spurred me to give my .02. Had to fly to Tucson, rent a truck, and drive my late mother's belongings back to Denver. All in two days. Rented the truck in Tucson and that was a TERRIBLE experience. But the truck worked great and got us home. The U-Haul in Tucson messed up our return location (instead of the one two blocks from our home, it was this one). That turned out to be lucky! Two employees helped me return the truck and were VERY friendly, VERY caring, and cheered me up after a rough weekend. They also pointed out that I did not get what I had originally ordered to pick up in Tucson, but got a more expensive truck than the one I had ordered (my phone had died before we got to the truck pickup so I could not pull up the original order and I assumed I had screwed it up) and told me where to go for redress. It was an easy and, given the situation, pleasant return experience. I have also rented short-haul and had propane tanks filled here in the past have and never had an issue.”

“Family owned and operated. Most, or all, employees are family/friends of the owner. This owner's fleet consists of late model vehicles, he and his employees keep them maintained in good working order. Excellent location with friendly, well trained staff, and reliable equipment.”

First at 10am to get the truck, then at 6pm to get the car transport trailer, but I had forgotten my car keys, so I had to run home with an empty trailer, get my keys and rush back just 15 min before they close to get help with loading the car.Through every part of the process and every employee interaction, I was impressed with the wonderful service, especially ...Sarai. She was amazingMy only issue is the truck. Its severely out of alignment and pulls to the left.”

“The man working outside with returns etc was incredibly kind and patient. He took the time to help a young woman learn how to back up a trailer into a parking spot. He could have just done it for her but instead gave her the chance to learn how. What a thoughtful person!”
