The Barking Lot
5890 N Lamar St, ArvadaI have been using the Barking lot for day care a few days a week for a few months now. Unlike some other day cares, where my dog would hide behind me and reluctantly be taken back, my dog is always excited to go. This gives me a huge sense of relief to be able to leave him someplace where he is comfortable. He comes home happy and tired. The staff has been very nice and very loving towards all of the dogs. I am really happy that I have found them.

The Gentle Groomer Too

The drop-off process was easy, and I got a phone call when he was ready for pick-up a short couple of hours later.On my way to pick Jackson up, I got called into work and had to turn around. When I informed Dee about the delay, she was understanding and accommodating. Since my work schedule can be pretty unforgiving, I appreciated this most of all. I was able to pick him up a few hours after he was done with no problems.Overall, it was an efficient, friendly, and positive (pawsitive?) experience. Jackson is happy, clean, and looking extra handsome!

I came up to the counter and she saw my new babies, saw what i had, and mentioned I needed a little more to take care of them. I’m leaving this review a month later because what she recommended has helped me beyond belief. We come back weekly to grab toys, food, and a friendly smile from Megan. Great hire.

They were very patient with us, and my dog's anxiety around people. My dog didn't let anyone touch her and still doesn't till this day lol. However they were able to give me clear and specific instructions to help her get back to her normal self. She's back on the mountain going multiple mile hikes and kicking butt!! We still go till this day for the water treadmill, and I tell all my friends and family about them!

He listens, responds without talking down, and puts you at ease. More importantly though, he reads the animals so well and can quickly tell how he needs to interact with them. My dog has not always been the best at his vet visits, but we finally found someone that knows exactly how to interact with him!!

I rescued a 2yr old husky mix over the summer and brought her to flash for the 3-week training program a few weeks after bringing her home. My dog (Phoebe) was struggling w/ overall anxiety, severe separation anxiety, and on-leash dog reactivity. Flash helped her so much — but also helped ME so much. I feel so equipped to give her the structure and guidance she needs to be happy — which has helped each of her behavioral struggles get so much better week over week and month over month. Having the follow up training and support has also been beyond helpful — when something new pops up, Ali has helped me resolve it in minutes. I would recommend flash to absolutely anyone — your dog doesn’t need to be “struggling” for it to be worth it. Being able to communicate with your dog with an e-collar and the commands they train is a game changer that would help just about anyone build a deeper and healthier relationship with their dog!

They were at an event recently at Bruz Beers in Denver. Bruz had aged their Cooper's Imperial Stout in a Talnua barrel and you could taste the whiskey and barrel-aged beer together. What a pairing!

The only downsides about this location are #1 the music was a bit too loud that conversation with the staff was nearly impossible. Everyone was trying to lean over the ice cream displays to hear each other. And #2 the chai latte is actually super sweet and sugary despite us being told otherwise!
But outside of those two things, the location is bright and modern in its decor and feel! It’s off the busy olde town path but worth the tiny walk to enjoy!
