“We always enjoy this location, whether passing through or popping up for a visit. It's a great, central spot to so many things. And the towns of Windsor and Healdsburg are both lovely towns to find a place that eat!”

“My partner and I stayed at the Madrona for two nights in March. It was one of the best hotel experiences we've had in a long time. The mansion is gracious, welcoming, modern, and cozy all at the same time. If you have the opportunity, I encourage you to wake up early and spend some time in the main parlor as the sun creeps over the hills. It's incredibly peaceful and leads your mind to wonder what it must have been like for the original owners to live in this gorgeous place. The grounds are beautifully gardened. Spending time on the front porch or strolling the grounds fulfills your soul. We want to come back and enjoy the pool in warmer weather. The staff at the Madrona is top notch. Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind. If you need a wine tasting booked, check on local restaurant, or ask advice on things to do, they are there to help.We are looking forward to our next visit!”

“I work in construction and we stay at the Oxford suites in Rohnert Park. We have stayed at numerous hotels across Northern Cali and this is by far the very best one! Our company was looking for a ton of rooms and for a good deal. Alex was and is amazing w us. She worked things out w our company and got us all in at a great price. Marco is also amazing. He has a great attitude and is extremely friendly. Great service at the front desk all around. I had flowers in my room when I arrived and a gift bag. Super sweet of Alexandra and her team! The rooms are very clean, you can tell they are kept up and the cleaners don't half arss it. Comfortable beds, the normal microwave, fridge and coffee pot. Biut for me it's the little things such as the glass cups and mugs. the hand soap and matching lotions. I couldn't be any happier.”

“Our experience in a pet room with our dog was really good. The floor is polished concrete and the room was relatively sound proof. The free breakfast is very light but nice that it's offered. The decor is fun and there's lots of places to chill outside. Despite the 80s look we found the rooms to offer modern amenities.I will say, beware tall people. In the rooms and common spaces are various light fixtures hung such that anyone over 5'10" are probably going to hit their head.”

“Dinner at the Montage Hazel Hill restaurant… SUPERB ! Service by everyone was excellent. I seldom order duck but this was honestly, the best I have ever had. The cauliflower soup was a surprise, very artistic & so tasty. Each of us raved about our dinner selections. Then the desserts: delicious !”

“Outstanding bed and breakfast located in central Healdsburg. The inn is a beautifully maintained old bungalow with a spacious garden to relax in. The host was incredibly hospitable and an excellent cook. The bathtub configuration is a tad bit strange if you're someone who likes showering.”

“Great location, friendly staff, room was done except the bathroom ceiling exhaust fan was inoperable. I reported it several times during our 2 night stay, but it was not repaired. The hotel is on the main road through town, and there was a lot of street noise -- traffic and pedestrian voices -- on Saturday night. So, the location is close to great restaurants, but noisy on weekend evenings.”

“We stayed here last summer. Staff was friendly, room spotless, breakfast was delicious. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Hope to return to visit again next time I'm in the area, thanks for the hospitality!”

“Boutique hotel located in a terrific area where you can walk around and find things to do. You have to park your car a little ways away since they don't have on-site parking, but the area is pretty safe and we had no issues. We stayed in Room 1 - it's really close to the entrance. The walls are super thin but it was not a problem for us. Others might need ear plugs. The room was super clean, modern, and very spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room comes with nice, comfy robes. The breakfast by Chef Daniel is amazing - hot breakfast all prepared by him. He needs to become a pastry chef because his cakes are next level. The staff are super welcoming and go above and beyond to help. This is our first stay at a bed and breakfast and Four Sister hotel, we will certainly be checking out the other ones! I absolutely loved this hotel.”

“This is such a sweet gem in Healdsburg! You might be able to find a fancier sounding place on the square, but The Ruse has all that and more. We stayed at the suite and the bed was amazing, soft robes and slippers, big and modern bath tub. But the best is really the outside amenities. Great pool, hot tub, 18-hole mini golf AND pickle ball courts. We had our teen girls with us, but otherwise no kids at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and everyone here super friendly.”

“Stayed twice. Carol checked us in and told us about their great restaurant. She wasn’t wrong. Lovely food and cheaper than Denny’s across the road. Staff lovely. Can do your own laundry which was great. We travelled numerous places for 6 weeks so that was great. Lovely room.
We returned for 2 nights later in the month as we enjoyed it there. This was even a better room, right opposite the water fountain, so enjoyed watching the birds come and wash and drink. Even saw a humming bird. Very relaxing place. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Rooms: Great choice, clean, roomy and all the mod cons

Nearby activities: Smart train to larkspur where you can get a ferry to San Francisco ferry building. Free to senior citizens.

Walkability: Best to have a car

Food & drinks: Restaurant on sight with great breakfast.”

“This is a lovely place to stay. Our room is cozy. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfasts are amazing and I love the freshly squeezed juices available. But probably the best thing is the customer service. The manager, Elena, really goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are having a wonderful stay. Will be returning again. Highly recommend.”

“Our room was clean upon arrival. In our opinion, the beds were hard and not very comfortable, but they served their purpose. The towels felt rough. Free breakfast isn't offered. There are many restaurants and attractions within driving distance.Rooms: Our room was clean upon arrival and stocked with towels and toiletries. The room had a mounted TV, small microwave, and small refrigerator. There's no free breakfast, but there is an ice machine outside near the office. Hotel offers Wi-Fi and there are basic cable channels.Nearby activities: Shopping center, coffee shops, brewery's, restaurants, museums.Walkability: Taco Bell, Mombo's Pizza, Wing Stop, Chick-fil-A, and Dutch Bros are nearby.Food & drinks: There are coffee shops, tea shops and a wide variety of places to eat nearby within driving distance.”

“A regular "staycation" spot for my girlfriend and I. The main hotel is a throwback to the early 1900's and always neat and clean. For a hotel in a busy area, it's pretty quiet . The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have, is that they now charge for parking when it used to be free with the room.”

“Clean, accommodating, and a great value considering the amenities available. The guy that runs the place is a total sweetheart. If ever I'm in the area again, I will stay here.”

“Extremely kind and friendly staff! Very professional and helpful. The room was surprisingly really nice! Cleaning staff were great, very hardworking. I really enjoyed my stay here, kinda in shock about the fact that this was a Travelodge this nice.”

“I had an amazing experience with this hotel. Very clean, customer service was outstanding and the room was exactly what I was looking for. (comfortable beds, big tv, decent sized shower--and most of all QUIET) the best part was there was room service 'every' day. It's so nice to come back to a tightly made bed and fresh towels after a long day. They had a nice high tier selection of wines to chose from in a comfortable Bistro area.I know where I'm staying when I'm back in Santa Rosa in August!”

“Just returned from a 4 night stay. From reading the reviews we were aware before checking in there wasn't an elevator and there could be noise from the freeway. I called ahead to confirm our reservation and to mention we'd be a late check in. The nice lady who took my call also brought up there wasn't an elevator. After chatting and mentioning we'd like a quieter part of the hotel she assigned us a room on the second floor facing the parking lot. Upon arrival and checking in, we couldn't be happier. We were in room 207 and heard zero noise from the freeway or anywhere else for that matter. No noise from above us or below although hotel was full. Room 207 is conveniently located just up the stairs from the Continental Breakfast room. We had brought our own cereal as again, from reading the reviews, we knew the breakfast offerings were minimal. For us it turned out to be perfect. They have a machine which dispenses Minute Maid Orange, Apple and Cranberry juice along with a cool late model coffee machine that dispenses every kind of coffee drink you can imagine and uses fresh beans too. Activia yogurt, milk, various pastries, granola bars, bread (toaster available too), fruit loops, raisin brand and one other cereal that I can't remember along with a waffle machine were available...along with bananas and oranges. The breakfast room along with the entire hotel looks great and feels almost brand new although the renovation was a few years ago. And the real shocker, if you travel on a regular basis...they have maid service every day if you like. We chose to skip that but it was a nice touch for those who like that. There was a refrigerator (one you can actually use, not filled with overpriced mumbo jumbo), coffee machine and microwave in the room as well. And a big thing for me is water pressure....I was shocked to see the newly renovated shower, bath combo had a handheld, overhead and the traditional shower head....3 in total and all with GREAT water pressure. I've gotten so use to staying at places where the water barely trickles out, this was a true surprise....and a pleasant one at that. Overall, we loved our stay, would stay here again in a second and would recommend it. Our stay was a Thursday thru Monday....the price we paid was much lower than other places for that same time period (we booked through Sams Club Travel) and the value was WAY higher than we expected. Location is great, we were minutes away from all the shops and restaurants along with numerous wineries and even a casino...River Rock Casino...everyone we interacted with was helpful and kind. Great job Hotel Vinea! P.S. No I don't work there, I'm not related too or know anyone who does, I'm not paid for posting this and have no ties to Wyndham.Walkability: Close to grocery store which serves all kinds of food while they're open. A slightly longer walk to shops and restaurants but easily doable.”

“For the price point offered, this is by far one of the very best values in Sonoma county. The rooms here are always very clean and offer the convenience of a kitchen with full size refrigerator, two & burner cooktop, microwave, and sink.Above all, I enjoy coming to this property because of the friendly and competent staff. They have always been available and accommodating to my needs and make this property feel more like home than a hotel.”

“Booked a room without looking at the the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The room was super clean with excellant heat/air. It definitely is a lot better than it looks and my car was still parked undamaged where I left it. However the walls are thin. I did hear everything like the stomping from upstairs the banging of doors, singing in the shower from my neighbor at 430 am and the highway traffic. I would recommend this place but I will not stay here again because I like quiet and it has no pool.”

“New construction started last year that removed all the grass for pets to have designated relief area. Pets are still allowed, it seems like pet relief is less of a priority.”

“The only reason i cone here is because this is the only hotel around in the price range of about $200 that has a real jacuzzi tub in the room. They have a no locals policy that says you cannot book a room here if you live with in 25 miles which is a little dumb but if it keeps the riff raff out then fine.”

“Great location, lovely hotel and grounds and helpful and polite staff. However I got into a situation with the wifi that was a wild goose chase with the front desk, tech support with the wifi company, back to the front desk, a technician they sent to the room who couldn't do anything, and finally the manager's office before I just gave up. With each step of the process I had to go into a long detailed explanation of everything I had already done and everyone I had already talked to, and then a long process of getting them to actually understand what I was saying and the situation. Finally I just gave up, didn't follow back up with the manager, just continued to use the slower free wifi cause it just wasn't worth it. Aside from that struggle though, I found the staff to be very polite and welcoming.”
