“Nice people. They carry burrata and sometimes guanchiale (call ahead). Lots of unique and boutique seasonings, oils, and culinary items. It's like a little farmers market in a store”

“Robert's Market is the best local store! Fresh produce, fabulously fresh meats in the deli, and the meals made by Abraham are simply delicious. You can walk around and shop while you smell your food cooking up. It's fast, delicious, and made with so much love. Everything is served with a smile. :)”

“Despite the inconvenient parking, California Market deserves a five-star rating. The food court has improved, though it could offer more variety. The cashiers are friendly, and while some items are pricier than other Korean markets, the quality is worth it. The standout feature is their homemade banchans, especially the kimchi, which is among the best in town. Highly recommended for a taste of authentic Korean flavors!”

“The Vallarta in Sun Valley is larger than the North Hollywood location. I find better selection and produce quality. The fresh cheeses in the deli are wonderful and economical. The people behind the counters are friendly. If you live in NoHo the Oxnard street location is adequate.”

“I can't believe I'm barely discovering this place! Where have I been?! I feel disappointed in myself as an Argentinian for not finding this place sooner lol This little market is truly a treasure . Authentic imported Argentinian goods at a reasonable price, delicious, empanadas, good quality sandwiches de miga and good quality meats. The bakery is delicious and has a wide variety of pastries, little pansitos, hot sandwiches, and empanadas. They also have fresh bread! I highly recommend Next time I'll take some pictures of the empanadas”

“We decided to try and make Lebanese food for NYE and needed ingredients not easily found at our usual grocery stores so we came to Jon's. What a fun grocery store! It's filled with all kind of goodies and staples from across the globe. On this trip we tried to stick to just the ingredients we needed for our NYE recipes but we did manage to put a few other extras in the cart...like Annato and Sazon. Jons has so many different types and brands of Annato...I was like a kid in a candy store...actually our entire experience was like that. We'll definitely be heading back soon to see what other yummy goodies we can find.”

I use to stay coming here at least 4 times a week . Since I’ve moved , I go when I visit the area . Always greeted by them with joy . Words can’t explain how I feel about this market. The community knows them and loves them !”

“Great store... combination of Trader Joe's & a neighborhood Mom & Pop store in Santa Monica...lol. Some decent deals, some overpriced....but ALL good quality stuff. Keep up with the Deal Guy on Utube for updates”

“Great service, this is where you go to get decent products for low prices. Not a huge selection of items, but corn bread, avocado are half off of Ralphs or Vons prices. Definitely go to Ralph's or Vons for your normal items, but worth a trip to get some discounted stuff. Maybe start here 1st? Also, checker was amazing & knew every code from heart, made checking vegetables easy.”

“The staff here is very helpful and exceptionally friendly. The prices are good and they have a good selection of products. Obviously, as expected, the store has niche Brazillian and Latin American products that can be hard to find. The only downside I would mention is that they don't accept Calfresh/EBT”

“This store has a meat department and a lot of fresh vegetables, it sells a lot of Spanish foods that you can't find at other big box supermarkets. It also sells wine, beer and liquor. The people who work there are all friendly and helpful. Try their turron imported from Spain, you'll love it. ?”

“Seafood City Market in Eagle Rock is a great place to find fresh and affordable Filipino and Asian groceries. They have a wide selection of seafood, meat, produce, and pantry staples, all at very reasonable prices. The store is always clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful.I especially love their seafood selection. They have a huge variety of fish, shrimp, and other seafood. The meat selection is also good. The produce section is always fresh and colorful, with a good selection of both tropical and familiar fruits and vegetables.”

“I have been here a few times over the years. It's very spacious, organized and well stocked. It's an international specialty store where they carry variety of imported products from Armenia, Russia, Persia, Mexico and more. You will find many unique items here such as imported cheese, jams, cookies, dips etc... they have a food court as well that sells kebabs, pilaf, salad and variety of hot and cold foods. They is also Sasoun bakery inside this store that sells freshly baked lahmajun and byoreks. Right next to it there is Lilits bakery that sells cakes, pastries and cookies. A lot to choose from. This supermarket can literally be a one stop shop, from freshly baked bread to the freshet produce and mead. They have it all. Prices are ok on most things but some things are very overpriced Customer service needs improvement even after many years of coming here it's still the same.”

“I am Frederick Martin. I am Security Officer. I worked at the CVS on Hoover and Washington. One day on my way to work I stopped in this market, and I was blown away. The meat department selection was amazing!!! The meats in that department were the best I had had since I been in Los Angeles and the meat butchers cut any of the meats just the way you like it. One other thing, I have a thing for all vegetables. Yummy. The produce was so superb!!!!. It was so fresh and beautiful, and the produce clerks are always attending to it. Damn near want you to eat it raw right then. I need to mention something else about the meats, once you freeze it and thaw it out, it doesn't get tough to whereas you have to 'doctor' it up, nor does it lose its original taste or texture. All of the staff are so very friendly and helpful too. Even outside in the front of the entrance they have more produce of fruit and it's all well taken care of. You can't find one rotten piece, not like in your major chain markets. Now yes, parking is an issue, because the strip mall is very small, but right across the street is a Subways and a laundry mat where you can park. With that being stated this is a community-based area and they really support their businesses. No hassle. I brag about them and support them 1000%.”

“Wide selection of live seafood! Fabulous Bakery and Deli. Fresh produce galore and a lot of different produce that most other markets don't carry. All that being said, this store is super expensive. In this day and age, its all about savings. I was here to purchase crabs which just so happens to be in season and I paid $15.99lb. Three whole crabs to the tune of $110.00.”

“Awesome little market for Middle Eastern and Armenian foods! There’s a card minimum so cash is preferable. I got the pyramid cookies here and they were delicious.”

“A nice store if you really like seafood. They have so many things I had never heard of. Loads of things I don't want to try?. A lot I was shocked to see. The prices were good for the items I saw. My sis was shopping and I was browsing. She got a few things I do not want or try?. The store was clean, workers stocking near the back by the veggies. The older guy who keeps the baskets out of the aisles and put in front. I will be back for the crawfish even tho I don't know how to cook them??‍♀️?. They have a wide array of noodles and other stuff and deals. It's a lil tight getting around so it might be easier if you bring those recycle bags. When my sis takes pics, I will post them”

“This small humble store sells great tasting injera, a staple (ethiopian style pancake made from teff, which is used to scoop up food) for eating Ethiopian dishes. There are other places that sell injera, but the dfferent types of injera available at this store is the one my family prefers. Not only is it tasty, but it seems to stay fresher longer. It may be a bit more expensive than other places, but it's worth the extra cost. It's also a good place to buy other items related to things Ethiopian, especially spices. One thing you should know is customers are served behind the door that is half open on the top. The sweet and kind elderly woman who works there is so helpful and polite. She fetches what you want from inside the store for you.”

“This is such a great grocery store! The prices are very fair, especially for the fruits, vegetables, and meat. Service is great, it does get very busy here, but it is well worth waiting in line for a bit. Everything is fresh and they have items you can't find another grocery stores. Highly recommended!”
