“My alternator went out on my diesel motorhome while on vacation in california. I stopped at a napa and an oreilly's but they didn't have the unit. I took it here and the owner knew what it was just looking at it and had new and rebuilt options in stock. He then drove me back to where the motorhome was parked on the other side of town so I could pay him and finish the repair. After he left, I realized I forgot some of the terminal nuts on the core I'd left him. He realized also, and as I was about to call him he showed up with the parts. Great business and great people!”

“Getting a flat tire in Wasco was a blessing in disguise for the following reason. I had been in talks with my dealer in regards to my break lights coming on. My car wasn’t making any strange noises when I would press on the breaks so I was confused why my break lights were coming on. My dealer said I needed to take my car in to get a diagnostic for the breaks and they informed me of many things that could be wrong with my car breaks. Just to look at my car the dealer price would be $150 and then extra for any work needed done. When I got a flat tire in Wasco I searched tire shops and came across this one. They drove to my location to put air on my flat tire and so that I can make it to the G&F shop. As they were fixing my flat tire I told the worker that my break lights were coming on and off at times. He immediately said that I probably need break fluid which my dealer never mentioned might be what was causing the break lights to come on. Sure enough he checked my break fluid and added fluid to my car. The problem was resolved immediately. My total price to get the flat tire fixed and my breaks working properly was nearly 3 times less than the dealer would have charged me just to diagnose my car. The worker at G&F didn’t give me the run around about what was wrong with my car. G&F mechanics are professional and look after their customers like family. I highly recommend this place.”

“Our production trailers got a flat due to the crazy heat while our crew was filming in Shafter. The big tire companies had a wait too long. The crew here took care of us. Did not rip us off because we had an expensive trailer. That is service! Will come back again. Hope I don't have to though.”

“F&R Auto Repair in Wasco CA to the rescue!
Our Class B Van over heated on the 5 so we pulled off to find no antifreeze. We could see we were leaking fast and could not move. We called AAA for a tow and they suggested F&R Auto Repair. Tow truck came in about 30minutes and got us loaded up.
Once we made it to the shop they had us diagnosed and fixed with a new thermostat housing and gasket in just under 2 hours!
We are so grateful for the service they provided and their kindness!”

Wasco Tire not only had our size but attempted to properly repair our tire, unfortunately the other shop damaged it much beyond repair, so they gave us a deal on another tire. “The men here are very professional and kind. I took my car this morning to get my tire checked and they were very polite. I had gone to another place before this & some guy at Wasco tires on Poso Ave was so rude to me that I was afraid to take it anywhere else. The store manager at American Tire Depot was very professional, greeted me with a smile & I saw another team memeber that was being very kind and professional to another customer. They make you feel comfortable and definitely the best customer service I have seen in a long time. Definitely will recommend everyone to go to American Tire Depot.
