“This is one of the last authentic Liquor stores that I feel is left in our neighborhood it has been there for over 50 years there are no cages big windows when you go to check out just a very nice friendly atmosphere from the owner to the employees if you want to purchase something and have a conversation that’s exactly what well happen if you want to stop in and say hello anyone of the team members will stop what they’re doing and chat with you it hasn’t changed much other than the name which used to be Yukon liquor and Then ABC liquor store they are fully supplied with everything from ice cream candy bars cold beverages of your choice and of course a friendly hello and goodbye and thank you for coming. it’s definitely part of The north Torrance family I have nothing to say but good things about every single person working there specially the owner he will go out of his way to make you comfortable and make sure your needs are fulfilled Five stars all the way. And thank you very much to you and all of your staff for your kindness and being helpful to find what you need it really is a one stop shop store. For those who are passing through I know you will remember to stop here again for those who are locals we know exactly where to go to Lucky dog liquor and Mart is within your reach for most of the neighborhood it is walking distance which gives you away and give you a little bit of incentive to walk instead of drive for your Health unless you’re in a hurry either way they will accommodate your needs all you have to do is ask. Loyal customer since 1964! If you know you no the area Yukon ave and Artesia Boulevard you are a lucky dog Customer I think it’s true!Stop in and look around it will catch your attention on the inside a lot of work went into this in my opinion you will love the inside but you’ll never forget the outside specially growing up in the neighborhood. To the owner and his team I personally thank you for keeping this little piece of property on Yukon in Artesia Boulevard a special place for the ones who are up here in the ones who are stopping in and the ones who are directing you to go to Lucky dog! No matter if you are traveling through and it is your first time and you come back five years later you are still Family to the Lucky Dog Liquor and Mart regardless you will always be remembered as a great customer Even thought you were passing through you will not be forgotten. “I first discovered K&L several months ago when I was looking for a place that carried Greek wines. This was the only place in LA I could find. I ended up joining one of their wine clubs and I frequent their monthly tastings. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. I’ve been to several tastings with Mandana and she’s amazing! Really friendly and knows her wines. Even when she’s not doing a tasting she always makes sure to say hi! Craig is also great on the member tastings. Really a gem and I’m so happy I found it. They have everything you could ever want. Definitely check out their tastings.”

Tony (aka, The God Father) Mr. Mike & Abner provide the best customer service you can possibly get nowadays. “What an absolutely wonderful wine place to accidentally stumble upon while getting my morning coffee. James was the name of the gentleman who helped me and really took his time explaining the shop and it’s history and nearly all of the wines in stock one by one. I ended up, leaving with four separate bottles, all new to me, and I am very excited to try them. This place is approachable and well laid out and I will make sure that I visit anytime that I’m in the area. I highly recommend just popping in for a look and maybe a quick sip of wine.”

“We have lived here since 1970. It's Oscar night so I commented that I needed to get back to the Oscars. He said that they were a joke . Always have had great people running Ambrose. Tonight I went in and commented that my ex husband loved soccer which was on the tv. The rude guy behind the counter said he must have liked really cheap wine. " like 3.99 a bottle huh ?!" obviously he was not a fan of Argentine people!!! I said he was being rude , and he suggested that I complain to Ryan ( I don't know if Ryan is the owner or mgr. ) WTF ! Now I will check to see if this jerk is working before I walk in the door.”

“Super cool wine and unique goods shop. I had discovered the place on accident after stopping by a shop down the street from them on accident. Great selection of beers, natural wines, liquor and snacks. The guy working there was super helpful, helped me navigate through their wide variety of unique beers to find a hazy IPA that was absolutely delicious! I definitely want to come back for their wine tastings and to pick up a bottle of bourbon . Oh and not to throw any of the other establishments under the bus but the pricing at Bar & Garden is super competitive if not significantly better than other spots within walking distance of there.”

This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”

“I absolutely love this place. First of all the meat is fresh. You can tell that it's been properly bled and they do whatever you want. They'll cut it however you want they have candy that you haven't seen since you were kids what was the last time you had a crush soda be a strawberry, pineapple, watermelon, strawberry I said strawberry it's really good grape or ranch. It's really good I really love this place and they have a hot cicerones hog head cheese. I mean this place is just wonderful if you want to go grocery shopping get some fresh meat and get clean food. This is the place and the guys there a really nice so I recommend this place yes I go from Long Beach to Inglewood just stick to my shopping but I love it.”
