“One of my company's vendors had a networking event here that we got to attend. The place is very cool with a nice vibe. Lots of plants, decorations and couches to hang out on. The charcuterie table was amazing. The outside area was nice too and they had a taco truck out back. Everyone was raving about how good the tacos were but they were a tad too spicy for me. (I'm sure they will still great though!)”

“Here is a Wow, what an incredible experience at High Rooftop Lounge! The views are simply breathtaking - you can see for miles and miles. But what really made our visit stand out was the exceptional customer service from Max. He recommended the chicken wings and burger, and let me tell you, they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! The flavors were bold and delicious, and the presentation was top-notch. Max was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lively and chic, and the drinks were expertly crafted. High Rooftop Lounge is a must-visit destination in Venice Beach - don't miss out! Big shout out to Max for his exceptional service. 5 stars and a huge thumbs up! "”

“Always greeted with a warm welcome from the owner! Love the house made potato chips with melted blue cheese and bacon. Excellent appetizer to share. Blackened salmon with Israeli couscous is fabulous and what I usually order. Cucumber martini is a must if you want a refreshing cocktail. Service is always lovely.”

“The hotel is luxurious. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. I usually visit the salon on the second floor for my hair appointments. Alex is a highly professional stylist who only works at this location one week per month, and his schedule is always fully booked. I was fortunate today to find an available time slot with Alex. Thank you!”

“The Santa Monica Pier feels like a lawless land. It's always a little crazy with hordes of people with selfie sticks, vendors selling all sorts of tourist stuff, rides that I have never been on, and of course a lovely view of the ocean. As a resident of the general area, I would never go here regularly but it is a quintessential place to see.”

“My husband and I had our wedding just a couple months back in March and it was everything we had envisioned!! Bel Air Bay Club is such a beautiful venue that provides a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony and such an awesome indoor reception space that acts more like a blank canvas allowing for a couples to really create a space that embodies their vision and personality, no matter your budget. For the couples that our budget conscious, the venue is all encompassing and does not require you add a ton of decor but for those who want to go over the top there is plenty of space to doll it up. We were somewhere in between as we did not want to spend a huge amount on venue decorations, which is why this venue was perfect for us. The staff at the venue from Jenny to Kira were super helpful in answering all of our questions from start to finish. They had great communication from the moment we filled out the inquiry form to the day of our wedding. They did have a few staff transitions but been with that, communication was great in the handoff process. The true MVP was my wedding concierge - she was AMAZING!! She made sure I was taken care of from wiping my tears to making sure I was eating throughout the entire night. She even took a few pics that was such a sweet treat to look at the end of our wedding night. The tasting was really good as well. It was great being able to try their popular selections for food and wine; many of the items we chose for our wedding day. The day of our wedding, the dinner did not wow us like how it did in the tasting but the guests could not stop raving about the flatbread and ceviche during the cocktail hour. As for the "cons".... We wished we had the flexibility to to confirm our rehearsal date/time sooner than 14 days as you can imagine our wedding party and parents had a ton of questions on where to be and by when as they planned out their own travel logistics. It was an inconvenience for members of wedding party who were flying in from out of town to book hotels and flights 14 days out. This impacted their ability to take advantage of our hotel room block and ultimately had the wedding party split up across various hotels in Santa Monica which did not allow for them to take advantage of some of the pre-wedding festivities the day of our wedding. Also, payment options are only limited to check payments. Given our experiences with guests not receiving our mailed save the dates and wedding invitations we were concerned about the checks getting lost in the mail. Luckily all payments were received on time but given the digital era it would have been more efficient to send these payments via wire transfer. General wedding advice, make sure you actually read the contracts in full for all of your vendors. We wouldn't say there were surprises but you should fully understand what the Food and Beverage (F&B) minimum is. We interpreted it as a contract/venue minimum but we found out later it is purely a minimum that can only be reached through food and beverage purchases. It was a slight inconvenience as we were thinking about some of the upgrades (i.e chairs, chargers, dance floor etc.) could be included in reaching this minimum. Otherwise, this venue was amazing and so happy we did our due diligence in researching! BABC met our expectations and if we could do it again....we would pick this place 1,000 times over!! Also highly recommend the passed champagne for your guests upon entry to your ceremony, you won't regret it!!!”

“5 stars for their drinks, I have been enjoying Erin's coffee since he was at the farmers market in Redondo Beach before he opened up his locations. I'm so happy for him and it's a very encouraging to see everything he has accomplished! Love all the decor especially the RV in the back patio such a nice touch! Service on the other hand, maybe it was just my experience but I would go to the farmers market every Thursday morning for his Chipotle Mochas and they were ice blended and my husband and I fell in love with them. And we work close by to Alana's so around Covid time up until recently we would go into work and would always postmates from there and always order the chipotle mocha ice blended and on Monday April 29 at 11ish we finally went into the shop in person and ordered our drink and shortly after the barista asks "ice blended?" And then continues on saying "like all blended and sh*t" and then pointed right at me and my husband and said "this is you guys?". I felt so awkward and just sat there feeling horrible and I absolutely love this drink but now I don't know if I want to go through the embarrassment again. Very unprofessional and inappropriate language.”

“I'm travel for work and pleasure and I'm always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, it's rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, I've found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you don't believe me, then try them out.”

“I took my daughter to Ball N Bounce for her first birthday. The staff was amiable and helpful; they walked us through the process and showed us the facility. It's a small facility, but you can only expect a little since it's in an expensive area. One of the most important things I like is cleanliness; their staff was on top, cleaning the top surface, and everything was organized and in its place. I will take my daughter back since she had a lot of fun.”

“This is one of the easier to find Halls at UCLA. It's more centralized and somehow has a classy feeling inside and out. The podium, projector, and mic makes it easy to hear professors. The seats are easy to navigate and pretty spacious. My favorite part are the huge, huge gorgeous windows in the auditorium and super high ceilings. It's just a lovely place I'm sure students will look back fondly on.”

“We'd visited this space several times over the years during El Segundo Art Walk and always thought what a great place to have a party, so when my husband wanted to celebrate his 60th birthday in style, this was the place! With the stage already set up for a DJ and/or band, and a great space for dancing, bar and room for dining at the back, who could ask for more? Our party was a great success in no small party thanks to Michael, who couldn't have been more helpful.”

“The venue was incredible, it was at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The staff was very kind, and helpful.Orchid String Quartet was incredible. Sent literal chills down my spine, and even cried a little during several sets. Candlelight events by Fever usually last about 1hour (ish) which goes by real fast, but I guess you can’t have too much of a good thing, right?11/10 and I would definitely recommend and definitely booking another one of their other performances.”

“My husband and I stayed there for our 10th anniversary and we could not have been more pleased. Upon arrival the reception clerk not only upgraded us (due to our anniversary) but also sent up a bottle of bubbly that was waiting for us when we walked in to our room. When he heard we had three kids he gave us fun sand toys for them and when we arrived at dinner that night (at the hotel restaurant) he had noted that it was our anniversary and they made the whole night special. We felt like the entire staff went out of their way to make our stay exceptional and it is still one of our favorite memories. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants an excellent and memorable vacation to stay here. You will not be disappointed! You will be wowed.”

“1 star deduction because the tables are awkwardly small for 2, and the food all came out within 5 minutes, resulting in the waiter trying to jam way too many plates on at once. restaurant needs to learn courses and timing, even with family style meals. the food all came out even before we got our drink order(which was placed first) food & ambiance 5 stars. we were lucky to happen upon jazz night on the 2nd and 4th fridays of each month. strong smell of truffles when you enter, so truffle haters beware. mushroom arancini- crispy fried outer layer, with rice and mushrooms on the inside sitting on a truffle based sauce. overall delicious but could be more generous with sauce as inside seems a bit bland without it. still great pastrami wagyu topped bone marrow- amazing. served with warm toast. great decadent combination here striped bass - very well done. fish was tender and cooked perfectly. sauce was almost drinkable labneh- first time trying this dish, a strained yogurt. served with warm soft delicious pita. will definitely order this every time i return price ended up less than $100 pp with tip”

“Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza. The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright. But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. First time in LA I found a decent capp, I usually order cappuccinos and end up with lattés !The location is perfect, overlooking the water. Would absolutely recommend.”

“Our car loving toddler is obsessed with this place. I'm not as into cars as he is, and I still enjoyed my time there. You can actually go into some of the cars, which was awesome! Apparently if you complete a scavenger hunt you'll earn a little toy car too! I think it would have been helpful if the staff working there explained that to us, but they weren't super clear about it. Instead, I found it out through an Instagram post that I happened to stumble upon.”
