“The wife and I were debating between a couple of different strollers at this shop. The sales associates were very informative and not pushy. They were excited to show us the different features and answered all our questions. When we aired some concerns regarding which would be best for us, they helped us weigh the pros and cons and we went with the one we felt was best for our situation. It's a small shop but there's a lot inside to explore and the owners were very informative.”

“We brought our kids here to celebrate their birthday by letting them pick out what they wanted. It was such a special experience!! I loved how everything was easy to see and my kids didn't make a mess by trying to pick everything up to "discover" and if they looked at something it was easy to put back. I don't know why I liked that!! There are toys for all budgets just look around! The girl working was so nice and helpful and really likes working there so that was also nice because I was asking her about their inventory! Thanks for the awesome toys!”

“This is a nice store and just enjoyable to hang out. Sits right on Rosecrans - safe environment, and great selection of books, of course! As far as books go they are well stocked with easy to find labeled sections. They have a vast variety and a wide range of authors, all genres and beautifully set up with a nice array of displays showcased throughout. The store is well organized, well-lit, clean, and spacious. Also, there are a variety of seating areas. Super friendly and knowledgable staff - always helpful and kind! Everyone is caring and insightful and gives impressive recommendations based on your tastes or goals. Kudos to the staff for professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. They also make ordering books easy. You can get anything you need and pretty fast. A nice browsing atmosphere with other book lovers. Parking is not a problem at all - as it is nestled in a shopping mall situated between Trader Joe's and Old Navy. This place is a 10/10!!!”

“I visited here with my son last Saturday. I splurged $88 on a firefighter costume If you're willing to splurge a little for a lot of joy, this toy store is where to be. However, if you're pinching pennies and normally buy your kids' toys on Amazon or Target, you will probably find this store pricey. This place is different from your run-of-the-mill toy shop. It has a great location and excellent customer service. Pros: High-quality toys: 10/10, hands down! Beautiful wooden wonders galore. A+ customer service - they're like happiness wizards! Eye-catching displays that'll make you want to stay all day. Cons: Pricey, no denying it. -Street parking by the meters.”

“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. Can't recommend Mega City One's excellent customer service enough! They will take care of you and you will NOT ever be disappointed!!”

“A fabulous space, housing a remarkable collection of pieces. We are big fans of lowbrow art and vinyl toys, and came from out of the city to visit. The owner graciously toured us around his collection, giving us history and answering our questions. They're hosting an event next month, I'm sure it will be just as great!”

“This is truly a kids dream store for realistic and detailed toys. My son (and I) really enjoy the weight, feel, realism, and durability of most of the Bruder toys. The staff was friendly and helpful- there were some discounts available for in store purchases not found online. Can't recommend this brand of toys enough! Thank you for the great service and toys!”

“The workers are so nice! When I went there I was there to get a smiski or sonny angel and I found out they had some left. The girl who helped me out was extremely kind. So I told her choose which box I should get. She asked me which one I wanted and she started shaking the boxes like how I would do it and guessing which one was inside. After I left the store came back minutes after and opened the box with her. AND TO MY SURPRISE IT WAS THE ONE I WANTED!! I WAS SO HAPPY WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS!”

“I didn't know there was a Puzzle Zoo on Main till last week. I used to shop a lot at the 3rd street Promenade location. This shop on Main is small, with great selection of toys, collectibles, games, puzzles. Nice customer service, street parking. Overall, a more laid back shopping vibe! “I think this is the largest of the souvenir shops. The products are diverse and the quality is good. However, except for the clothes. Like most clothes sold at souvenir shops, it is so thin that it seems like it will stretch out once you wear it, and the material is likely to tear if you pull it a little. But a short-sleeved t-shirt costs over $30, so even if you buy other products, the t-shirt is not recommended. However, if there is a tee that you really like, there is nothing you can do about it...There are a variety of products such as mini cups, Hollywood sign snowballs, key chains, playing cards, and handkerchiefs with hemp on them, so you will be spoiled for choice. But actually, the small souvenir shops throughout Hollywood may be of lower quality, but the prices are better, so if you want similar products, I recommend buying them elsewhere rather than here. I think I bought a California license plate for about $4 cheaper than here.”

“Great place. When I walked in there were three employees behind the counter, and they immediately greeted me and asked how they could help. I needed advice on getting a gift for a 3 yr old and they were full of suggestions. There are previous reviews warning of inattentive teenager employees, but that problem seems to have been fixed. I'm glad I went and will go again.”
