“My pup had a amazing grooming experience. The staff listened to what my needs were. Because my pup had a little matting they could not achieve the look I wanted. The staff called me and consulted with me upon discovering the matting. Before proceeding with the service we came up with a new look. I appreciated that as other groomers would have just done whatever. The whole service was complete in less than two hours.”

“Month ago my mutt got tape worms; the meds upset his tummy. As most ppl know - walking w runny #2 is dreadful for dog & parent. Called vet, researched for a month…no improvement- went to UP to get pumpkin/sensitive food. Gentlemen working asked if I was looking for specific..explained situation- he showed me pumpkin powder - I asked if I needed more..he said; “this will work in a day”. OMG he was 100% right. He has no idea how much he made both Henry and my life so much better. Every time I go in here - they are SO incredibly lovely.Note: I NEVER take time to review..but this was worth it.”

We had been struggling and overwhelmed with leash reactivity, stranger danger, nervous and fearful behavior. She was able to guide us with game plans to manage and work on his behavior. “My dog is not a sweets kind of guy. He loves himself meat and cheese flavored goodies, and leaves sweet or fruity snacks untouched. Let me tell you! His family and him absolutely devoured these treats! The cake was his favorite. He would sit and wait politely every time we opened the fridge just waiting to get another cake slice. All the snacks smelled pleasant even to us humans. They also have soft treats which worked great for our older Chihuahua with fragile teeth. Additionally the bakery sells various non bakery items like toys and the like as well. Definitely recommend their bakery items...they are dog approved by our 6 dogs ?”

“AKSM has handled my dog grooming needs for years. They are amazing and responsible. I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs there, and the dogs always come home smelling fresh and feeling clean. I have a 13 year old who has a seizure disorder, and DJ made me feel very comfortable continuing my dog's grooming service after the seizures began. I also take advantage of the monthly teeth cleaning service, which is very convenient. They have a pretty clear grooming menu with prices on the website, but if you have questions or need help picking what is best for your pet, just ask! They are happy to help.”

“We have tried several so called human grade dog foods. We wanted to use the best and asked our vet for many years and a close friend also, what he recommended and he suggested we try Pure Dog Food. He had nothing to say but great things and how good it was for our dog. He said the cost was a little more, but that would be nothing to keep our dog healthy and live longer, and in the long run we would not being spending all the expensive costs of medically having to treat a sick dog, one thing that us dog lovers surely know. It doesn’t have added ingredients to try and keep the freshness like all those typical kibble pet foods that add carcinogenic ingredients that can cause cancer!! And all the flavors, different vegetables, and vitamins that are sourced and made in the U.S.A. make it #1 in our book and most of all for our Bailey! Thank you Pure Dog Food!!!!!”

“Let’s put it this way, if it wasn’t for JustFoodForDogs my extremely picky eater, Lobo, would probably starve. Lobo does not like any other food. We’ve tried all of them out there, seriously, everything you can think of we tried. Until someone recommended JustFoodForDogs and here we are. We’re lucky to have this location so closed to where we live. We were here to buy some treats, but we also got a bag of his favorite food (the beef recipe) because he was running out. The staff here is always super friendly, and so awesome. Lobo gets lots of pets from them, and a couple of free treats. He never wants to leave when we come lol; in fact, he wants to go in the kitchen and see what’s cooking. Okay the location…it’s hard to miss because of the the big sign on the building, however; drive slowly when approaching the building or else you’ll miss the entrance to the parking lot. It’s a busy street, and road, so you might pass it and not realize it. Prices: in my opinion their food is worth every penny for the quality of ingredients you’re getting. The treats are on the pricey side, but again, they’re so worth it. They also have supplements, which I’ve never tried.”

“This review is long overdue. Ever since me and my girlfriend moved to LA, this has been our go to pet store. We get everything for our dog here and always leave satisfied. We usually come for the self wash as our dog sheds too much for us to wash him at home. They offer a prepaid self wash card that is an absolute bargain. For about $15 they provide you with shampoo, conditioner, and a strong blow dryer - perfect for our pups thick coat. There's also a great selection of food, treats, and toys. I highly recommend subscribing to their email promotions. There's usually a solid store wide discount every few months and that's when we stock up on food and toys for him. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist. I've never had a bad experience here and can't recommend this place enough!”

“I love healthy spot, this branch is no exception.We had Laura from grooming take care of my dog’s dew claw curled nail, he’s fidgety and I couldn’t do that at home. She was so wonderful ❤️ took the best care of him.Additionally, he’s a picky eater and the employees at the counter had so many samples to try out with him so we picked the one that he immediately devoured. Very helpful staff! My go to for all my dog’s needs really!”
