210 Main St, VeniceI couldn't have imagined a better experience for my beloved Henry. The staff were beyond kind and helpful, and patient and knowledgeable. The facility was comfortable and clean and inviting. They even offered coffee, and sweet waiting rooms. I felt cared for and truly valued as a customer. The surgeon and nurse took over an hour, sitting on the floor explaining the options and different procedures and risks. I never waited more than 10 minutes, and they were beyond accommodating. With all they did to him, he came out looking like he lost a bar fight, and it likely should've cost a mortgage payment, but it was incredibly reasonable. My friend thought it would be double. They were up front about all the costs and explained everything afterwards. I almost want to cry writing this, they took a really scary situation and made me feel so special.. My lil dude too. We will be eternally grateful and loyal to them.. our new fur-ever vet. Thanks Dr. Faro and Amanda and the whole crew!!! xoxo

1748 Washington Way, VeniceDue to a last minute logistical error, we took our furry babies to Venice Dog Boarding. It was our first time leaving our babies here so we were very apprehensive, but from the moment we met Jan, my wife felt so much better and our dogs were very relaxed. Our babies were well taken care of, Jan was very nice and took very good care of them. You can tell she loves dogs. We will definitely be leaving our furry babies in her care from now on.

2553 Lincoln Blvd, VeniceEverything about this adorable gluten free restaurant and wine bar was top notch!! We rolled in from out of town late and needed a bite to eat so we stopped here. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Elisa chose the perfect wines for each of us based on answering a few questions about what we liked. We ate the garlic thyme biscuits, mac and cheese, fish and chips, arugula salad, and hazelnut cake and chocolate tart for dessert and everything was divine. We will most definitely come here again next time we are in town!!

1522 Abbot Kinney Blvd, VeniceI'm in love with a cider... and I found it at SoCal Vibes. I also found a cool vibe here too. The Mexican lollipop (I.e. spicy habanero watermelon) was SUCH a highlight and a treat. Hot damn! Loved it for sure. We also tried the mead based cider which was also delicious, much higher ABV for disclosure. I also enjoyed the cholada cider. Not as sweet or potent as the lollipop but still enjoyable. More mellow cider. I feel like you can't go wrong here. We didn't eat but the fries looked so good (& reportedly were per neighbor). The men helming the bar were a cool group of dudes. They gave us tastings prior to selecting, were warm and answered our questions regarding the brand and origin story. We also sampled their brandy which was likewise, knock your socks off tasty and I've never enjoyed brandy. The store has such neat interior decor that feels vibrant. It's well planned out but there's also an open air window to sit at or outdoor seating in the front and back. Plenty of space to find your preferred section. We felt welcome here and we will certainly return!

209 Windward Ave, VeniceI always love eating here. Cozy outdoor vibes in Venice Beach. It's the best sauce I've had outside of New York. Like, their sauce is so good I am blown away by it every time. The calamari is my favorite app and their mains are all really good. I used to get the chicken parm which they don't have anymore but the lasagna is great. When I used to come here a few years ago you had to bring your own wine but they serve alcohol now. It's not fancy, just real deal Old School Italianamerican food that's hard to find outside of the Northeast with a great vibe. Highly recommend especially for a date.

701 Lincoln Blvd, VeniceGot the OG burger, and a banh mi the day before. The OG is a fantastic In-N-Out inspired burger. Really nailed it. Highly recommend. The Korean BBQ banh mi is one of the better banh mis I’ve had in a long time. Nice staff too, casual atmosphere. Def will be coming back.

El Primo Taco
845 Lincoln Blvd, Venice4 Star Rating is based on the tacos, on their own merit, and not necessarily the ambiance and surroundings. (Think taco truck-with-some bonus seating) The tacos are about as good as it gets. The pastor is on the vertical rotisserie, the tripas are great, and the carne asada is pretty darn good, but maybe not the best due to the overall conditions and limitations of the presentation. This place is a SUPER bargain, has great meats and all the fixings. The salsa is really super but if you're not committed to heat, use it sparingly. I was a happy camper loading it up- but you might want to think "habanero" level heat. The ambiance is OK, with street seating and some of the precooked food can be cool if eating during winter. (If you like your food hot/warm, order pastor - it will be cooked as you're standing in line). Cars ran into the truck twice during a few hours- so stay away from the curbside. It's a busy spot with Whole Foods and all, right there. Would definitely go again and it's the perfect neutralizer for the typical LA check at the end of a meal. You won't be disappointed, especially when they tell you your total $)

They are all very good the only thing I would maybe not order again is the matcha. I have also gotten a facial at the spa. It's a very simple facial but my skin was very hydrated after I left and the techs are very kind. They gave me samples of the products after I left and I LOVED them. I have dry skin that is recovering from a hormonal acne outbreak and the products worked so well. I just purchased some of their products and I love them. They are very effective and my skin looks very hydrated.
